In the pentagram everything was amplified. The crystal was to focus the eneregy and open the interdimensional gate to allow their energies to combine as one. The hateful energies that is.

When Delia's gaze hist the already weakend Hellister it began to kill him almost instantaneously.

"Arrrrgh!" Hellister screeched even through his drugged state. It was as if his very soul was screaming.

"No! Delia, we are so close," Hellister said although the words didn't come from his mouth but elsewhere. As if his very thoughts were being squeezed out of him.

He pointed a feeble hand at the crystal, "AT this crystal, focus at the...." his voice trailed off....

Francesca tilted her head sympathetically. She was seldom unhappy for others, but would be for the sake of her cousin.
"You have to focus your anger on the crystal," she said to Delia, loud enough for her to here. "See, you're hurting him."

The realization hit Delia quick as she shifted her attention immediately back to the orb. Unhindered she gazed into the crystal and poured all emotion thereof into it.

The force of the spell ripped at her insides as she screamed out in pain while channeling that into the ball as well.

Delia's screams started Hellister screaming even in his state of delerium.

He screamed until his throat turned red with blood as the tiny capillaries in his pharynx exploded. The heavens above opened up. The sky looked like someone had sliced it with a razor blade and it bled. The blood was a thick drizzle of rain that landed in but one spot, the circumference of the pentagram.

Hellister, drenched, looked at the crystal. It was glowing with pulsating beats.

"It worked," he said weakly picking up the pulsating crystal. "It worked."

Hellister picked up the crystal and lifted it over his head. It was now time to crack the egg and let the infant out.

Delia was plastered in red blood that had quickly seeped into the fibers in her clothes and thickly coated her hair. She spat up blood, but in this case it was her own, not that it mattered much, considering.

"Break it, Hellister. I'm miserable, and you owe me."

Wade's movement was slight, a simple twist of his flip belt. His time for revenge and completion of a deal was close. He bent low at the knees and sent himself rocketing towards the egg, with the lack of gravity preventing him from slowing, his course continued unhindered towards his prize.

With his whole body he attempts to grab the demonic egg, bringing it close to his chest like a football, allowing all his weight to knock it out of the unsuspecting exhausted Hellister's hands and keep it with him as his path continued.

Hellister was hit by Wade and his linebacker force. His face dropped as he saw Wade steal the egg.

"Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!" Hellister screamed.

"Jamie, Fran, stop him!"

The fully formed Dellister a.k.a Helia screeched and pused on the sides of its crystal shell.

The case was too hard for it to be released by it own strength. The crystal had to be smashed otherwise it would live its life eternally in the egg.

Wade was launched off of Hellister off of his planned course; however he expected this to happen and was fully prepared when he had the egg. He waited a moment and adjusted his flip belt when he felt he had gained enough distance between the group and himself. Once he slowed himself he was roughly 20’ in the air and 40’ away.

“Hellister, this thing is mine now. If you want it back you’re going to have to meet me in the mine. I’m willing to trade. Do you understand me?”

Wade was slowly drifting downwards; feet dangling listlessly he kept one arm firmly around the egg and one hand on his belt buckle.

Francesca had momentarily zoned out, but now seemed to once again be paying attention.
"Well, I don't think there's anything we can do now. What do you think, Jamie?" she said. When no answer came, she looked around. Jamie seemed to have taken off, and no trace of him remained.
"Oh, come on. Run off and leave me with these freaks, will he? Hellister, you better give the Doctor your answer."

Hellister ran over to Francesca and grabbed her by the collar.

"Satan Christ!" He said shaking Fran rather roughly. "He's got my baby! You let him get the baby!"

Hellister let Fran go and then ran back into the pentagram.

"Get up!" he screamed at Delia, "Get up, he's got the baby!"

Hellister grabbed Delia by the shoulders.

He was having a fit pulling at his hair and sluff.

"Breathe," he said to himself and sat down. "Breathe!"

Hellister took a long couple of breathes and then tried to speak forcing himself to stay calm.

"Ok, ok, ok, we are going to the mines to get the baby. He is reasonable I'm sure. Just wants a trade. Delia he may want your life in return for the baby. It is just a sacrifice we are gonig to have to make."

"I'll see you in the MINES!" Hellister screamed into the darkness.

"Geeze," Francesca said exasperatedly, picking herself up off the ground after being tossed around by her much taller and stronger cousin. She dusted off her dress, saying,
"It wasn't my fault. I'm not responsible for your, uh... child... I don't know about that guy being reasonable, though. I've known him for a while. He seems a little... off."

As though cued, Draegan tore through the graveyard at the sight of bloody rain and Wade twenty feet in the air, Cyril close on his heels. He was holding his skirt up around his ankles and hopefully not completely ruining a new pair of high-heeled boots.
"Holy... Hellister! That's where you went!" The transvestite sounded somewhere between worried and irritated, and his mouth was moving a mile a minute. "Cyril smelled blood and it was falling from the sky and why on Earth would you need a fallen cherub?!" His face was flushed and his hands shaking.
"Oh..." he looked around at the scene, the pentagram on the ground confirming what research had already told him. "Hi, Francesca, Delia..."

Cyril trailed drearily after Draegan, holding a huge book that must have been in prior use as furniture in Draegan's house. It looked like it weighed about as much as Francesca, and may or may not have been bound with human skin. He set it against a headstone and opened it to a page Draegan had marked before rushing out of the house in a blur of skirts and ribbons.
"Yeah, that looks about right..." he said, and looked up, his hood partially obscuring his vision. "But what a motley crew we have to do it..."

Hellister was just about to leave when he got sight of Dragean and Cyril in his vision.

Hellister would have ignored them but he noticed that Dragean at least had dressed quite nicely for the occasion.

Hellister grabbed Dragean.

"Wade has stolen our fallen cherub, I spent so much time bringing the little fellow to earth in the ceremony of hate. It just isn't right."

Hellister looked again at Dragean's outfit.

"It is getting to be daylight. I will burn to a crisp following Wade to the mines. Dragean, strip to your underear. I will need the covering of your designer outfit to shield myself from the sun!"

Hellister noted that Dragean seemed hesitant. "Strip! The cherub! My life!"
