Delia reacted slowly, she in no way felt attached to the trapped creature. She was more concerned with the blood that began to dry and crack on her skin.

She scratched at the surface of the flakes not entirely sure what Draegan or Cyril were doing here. She wasn't even sure what she was doing here.

"Helister, can you finally tell me what you've brought me into? If you want to trade my life, that is fine by me. Just tell me what is going on. In real sentences and preferably coherent ones."

Draegan stared at Hellister, right eye twitching a bit. "You did not answer my question, but I suppose you've given me a better one. What does that lunatic want with it?"

The crossdresser's glare only got flatter, and his demeanor ever less worried than irritated. Still, he managed to avoid looking hostile. "Now, Hellister... I'm only doing this because I want more than anything to see you traipsing about town in a dress. If you do anything to this dress, I swear on my knifemaker's grave that you'll pay for a replacement."

Draegan untied the bow on his corset and loosened the lacing, intimidating, passive-aggressive blue eyes never leaving Hellister. "Cyril, come help me out of this thing..."

"Just when I thought this couldn't get any more awkward..." Francesca said, blinking. Delia also seemed to be confused about what was happening around her. Getting involved of anything of Hellister's was a mistake. To Francesca, however, Delia seemed a bit on the odd side, and maybe she was enjoying this.
"Dear cousin, do you really need me any longer or can I get out of here?"

Cyril looked up from the book and shot Draegan an incredulous stare. As though he would have a hand in such immorality! "Draegan Lampridius Locke, you shameless harlot. Put your corset back on."

He unclasped his cloak and swung it around his shoulders, holding it out to Hellister. "Wear this," he said, deadpan. "I should be alright with my hands in my pockets and my head down... especially considering I've been at this a lot longer than you."

Hellister was please to see Cyril give up his cloak sa willingly. He had intended on cutting eye holes into the dress and putting it over his head in some fashion.

"Dragean, it is likely that what he wants with the unholy infact is full-custody. He obviously thinks he will make a better foster mortal than I or Delia. I saw that spark in his eye, the spark that says, "I always wanted to raisse a f fallen cherub."

Hellister next turned to Fran, "Stop sniveling over there your only making things worse."

Then he swung back around to Delia, "Isn't it obvious your role in this? You are half of the parental equation." He looked at what Delia was doing, cleaning the blood off her skin.

"No, no! Stop that! No time for grooming. Chances are you will have twice as much caked on blood by the time this thing is over. Perhaps Delia, he kidnapped the cherub to use it as a bargaining chip. Maybe it is you he is really after."

"To the mines!" Hellister shouted.

"Well that's just grand, Hellister. Fantastic really." she mumbled in refrence to the blood. "You owe me a new dress."

She stood and brushed out her hair with her finger tips, stepping from the circle with care. She felt sore and was hesitant about moving far.

"I don't wish to be a parent, nor do I seriously think Wade would consider me of interest for even the slightest of seconds."

She nodded, "To the mine it would seem."

"You're kind of dense, though, Hellister. Couldn't this just be a part of whatever Wade was planning before? Think about it. You were just making this thing to spy on Wade, and now Wade has the thing and you want to get it back from him. Huh. Talk about irony," Francesca said. She smiled, and, seeing as Hellister hadn't given her a straight answer about requiring her presence, decided not to come along on this silly little mine trip.
She added to Draegan and Cyril, "See you, boys," before skipping away.

Draegan leveled another glare at Hellister. Clearly he was losing his grip...

Then a sympathetic look for Delia. "You must not have been around here long... ruining someone's dress is like saying hello in Clauden. Trust me on this..." he waved his hand dismissively and turned on his heel.

"Cyril. I want to tag along..." the transvestite's face was suddenly ten times cuter than it should have been. "Can we, please?"

"Try to keep up," was all Hellister said to the group as he bolted to the mines.

"Oh no," she said while making to leave, "I've been here, quite some time too, just never dealt with Hellister in any of my jaunts."

She picked up her bag and began towards the mines while making her way after Hellister. "I'm not even going to try to keep up with that. As if I could." she looked over her shoulder at the two, "Oh, please do come, my ability to handle Hellister alone... Clearly you can see how terribly that would end."

She continued down the path.

Cyril sighed, glad the impending sunrise wouldn't have as much of an effect on him as it would on Hellister. A shame he was never actually around when it decided to rain blood. He grinned wryly at Draegan's comment about ruined dresses... the way he saw it, Draegan ruined his own dresses.

"Yes, that's fine... we should go home and change first, though. I won't be able to be out long without a cloak, unless you want me trapped in the mine." He smiled a bit sarcastically. "Besides, one less dress ruined if you go down there in normal clothing."

Cyril turned on his heel and headed back toward Draegan's house, with Draegan close behind.
