"Are you sure? All right, whatever you say," Jamie said with a shrug. He handed the shotgun back to the man and just looked at Aegis. "Should we just leave him here?"

"Wyatt Earp is my friend."

"I don't."

Oliver chuckled at the thought of leaving the man there. He went threw the mans pockets and pulled out 2 dollars. "This is for me carrying your sorry ass bud." He said. "No lets at least put him in some shade."

Jamie nodded and looked around.
"How about there?" he nodded to a large barrel cactus at the very edge of the desert. Without waiting for an answer, he pulled Aegis into the shade and then came back and put the package beside him.
He nodded to Oliver.
"Well, my friend, it was nice meeting you." He turned to leave.

((This post is explaining how I left Clauden and why I leave. I forgot to post this, as many people are confused.))

-Aegis woke from his unconcious slumber, shaken by a firm hand. He opened his eyes and looked up-right into the eyes of Elim Xenovic, the demon-slayer of Xlands. Aegis quickly pushed himself up, kicked Elim to the ground, and drew his sword-all in the air. As he landed, Aegis took a few steps back against the tree, its shade covering all but the blade in a flood of black. Elim spoke first.-

ELIM "So, you're here in this wretched town? What, did
Dark Chaos scare you that much?"

-Aegis stood silent. He heard Elim's words, but he was too frightened to move. Out of all of Aegis' enemies, Elim was the most dangerous, being immortal, a demon, and a sand-dweller all at once. But what really haunted Aegis was the fact that Elim had tried to steal his father's soul, and prevailed. If it weren't for Aegis' inability to fight at that time...-

ELIM "Well? Tell me why you're here with this bunch of losers."

-Aegis finally worked up the courage to speak.-

"I'm here to help Roland." he said with a shaky voice.

-Elim wasn't impressed. He frowned.-

ELIM "Oh, so your little buddy is here? Where is he so I can give him a kiss for ya?"

-Aegis stood still, stifling a shout of anger. With much effort, he replied,-

"Roland is...dead." Aegis lied.

ELIM "Aw, what a pity. Well, to get my story straight, I'm here from the demon lord's orders from Dark Chaos. He wants you there."

-Aegis straightened up and sheathed his sword. Elim was no longer a threat, because all he can do is follow orders, and there were no orders to kill.-

"Dark Chaos?"

ELIM "Yeah. It's just that he wants you there so you can help him out a little. He's got something you want."

-Aegis tensed as Elim held out a small piece of crystal, just big enough to fit in his hand. Inside of it, a picture of his father blurred into view-along with his brother, Iveon, and his mother.-

"You bastard. What did you do?"

ELIM "We've gave them something they wanted. So it's only fair we gave you something you wanted."

-Aegis looked as Elim drew out a blade from a sheath at his waist. It had crystals embedded in its hilt, and the blade was as tall as Aegis, and just as wide. It was his father's sword, the sword that had slain over one million demons. But...why did Elim have it?-

ELIM "Picked it up while I was busy torturing your daddy. He put up a good fight. But, being immortal really helps out, even if you can't feel emotions."

-Aegis suddenly flew, literally flew, from his position, engulfed in white flames and blue sparks, towards Elim's head, sword drawn in a flash. Elim, being the faster one, just as quickly dodged as Aegis flew past him. But the fire knight agiley took a sharp turn and once again flew towards the demon, this time firing a few balls of white flames at him.-

-But it was no use. As the flames hit Elim, they melted his skin away and burned his mythril armor, but only to reveal his demonic interior-pitch-black skin, deep, scarlet eyes, and a humongous axe that he held in his right hand. The left half of his body was still in human form.-

ELIM "You really are weak. You can't even burn me! Pathetic."

-Aegis landed. and as he did, the flames circling him burned a large area of the land around him.-

"Just leave! I'll help your damned king, just leave this place and harm no one!"

-Elim seemed pleased, and nodded. He threw back his half demon, half human head and gave a mighty leap into the air, dissappearing from sight.-

-As Aegis mentally put out the flames, he sat on the charred, black ground around him. He couldn't contemplate what happened, but it had happened, and there was no stopping it. If it would take helping the demon king to save his parents, then so be it.-

"I promise you, guys, that I'll save you. Just you watch. I'm strong enough now."

-Aegis stood up and walked slowly into the horizon, towards the east-towards Dark Chaos.-
