Sydney bit her lip. This was like some sort of test, down there was pretty much all of her fears rolled up into one, but… When Jean started crying, the f rail woman had already made her choice. She took a deep breath, shut her eyes, and tilted her weight downwards. She felt the horrible sensation of your stomach doing a turn in your gut, no ground beneath her feet, then a hard thud on the floor of the tunnel. She wheezed, having the wind knocked out of her by the less-than-perfect landing on her belly. “Ack.” She whispered, and slowly pushed herself to her feet, hands trembling slightly. “J- Jean. Which way do we go? I’m afraid to open my eyes.”

Jean went to Sydney's side immediatly and hung on her like a damp coat.

"Oh this is so terrible Sydney. I knew I should have got the pickles first."

Jean looked at the tunnel in front of her and her stomache sunk.

"I guess the only way we can go is forward into the darkness of that tunnel."

“Dark… Tunnel?” Sydney asked, her voice hushed. This was exactly what she was afraid of. So, with her eyes closed and her heart thudding at a mile a minute, she started taking slow, hesitant steps into the darkness of the cave, trying her best not to either scream or pass out.

Jean scared of the pitch blackness shouted into the tunnel,

"Anyone there?," She didn't know why she shouted it, She was half afriad that she would meet a bear in it.

For a few moments, Larghetto had to just hang there, stunned. When he heard voices, he started struggling from the grip of the branch and calling out frantically.
"Mon ami, I'm here! I'm stuck on something! Please come get me off! Bring some light with you!"

Jean looked at Sydney.

"Oh dear, I think there is a gohst down that way. It said something about light. It must be istuck in n purgatory."

Jean looked back down the tunnel.

"You must go into the light dear," Jean said trembling at the thought of speaking to a ghost.

"That is the only way out of your misery and your path to the Lord."

"There is no light. This tunnel is completely pitch black and I'm stuck here upside down. Come on!" Larghetto whined. He crossed his arms, growing more and more irritable as the blood rushed into his head.

Jean turned to Sydney,

"What shall we do. Evidently, the ghost can't understnad simple directions."

Sydney felt a shiver go down her spine, and she suddenly wished she had something to defend against ghosts with. Or at least her notebook, which to some degree, kept her comfortable even when she wasn’t writing in it. Alas, she had left it up at the mouth of the hole, and by this point she was trembling. Three faint gurgling noises came up from the back of her throat, and when she finally formed words, they came out slurred beyond comprehension. Sydney was a coward, no denying it, and these situations were ones she was very unfamiliar with.

Jean examined Sydney carefully and then rushed to her side in support.

"Oh sydney don't go yellow on me and pass out. I need you right now. It is only a ghost," Jean said herself sickened by the idea.

"I'm sure we can talk it out of the situation. If we help the spirit maybe it can help us."

Jean gathered all her courage and stepped into the cavernous tunnel.

"Mr. Ghost," Jean said loudly with still a tremble in her voice, "Just stay calm. You have not completed something on this Earth that needs to be done before you can move on. What is the one thing that huants your thaoughts day and night?"

"Messieur ghost? Ghost?!" Larghetto yelled crossly back to the voice. "Sacre bleu, femme fou! It is Larghetto Allemande. If you're not going to help me out at all, at least get someone who will! Messieur Clay, or Dragonlock maybe!"

"I know Larghetto," Jean said grabbing at Sydney's elbow.

"He used to do some work for my husband when Clay was sheriff. He must of got killed chasin those worms he was always after . And now he is here haunting these tunnels. Sounds like he's speaking in tongues too."

Jean was slightly comforted that the spirit was from someone she knew, and that she knew to be at least a semi-nice person.

"Come on Sydney we must be strong and head to the voice. Larghetto probably wants his body buried and he must be just floating above it. Once he is in sacred ground his soul will be at ease. We must go find his skeleton," Jean said yanking Sydney into the darkness.

"You must carry the skeleton out Sydney. You are not full with a baby like I am."

Jean slowly made her way down the tunnel singing softly to herself Amazing Grace.

"Amazing grace! (how sweet the sound)
That sav’d a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears reliev’d;
How precious did that grace appear,
The hour I first believ’d!

Thro’ many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
’Tis grace has brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

Oliver was wandering out in the desert when he saw what seemed to be a big hole in the sand. He got close to the hole and looked down. He almost lost balance but regained it...thank god he was sobber for once.

"Hello." He said to the people in the whole.

Jean heard the hello from above, "Oh come quick," She shouted up to it. "We are stuck in a hole and there is a ghost inside this tunnel."

"Please, jump down in here with us. I am pregnant and can't climb up a rope. but you sound like a strong young man. Come help us."

"Jump down with you huh.....Can i please talk to someone that has a fairly ok IQ?" He asked.

He looked around for something that he could lower into the whole and helped them out. Maybe he could go back to town and find a old ladder.
