"I'm just keepin every option on my plate ma'am I aint lettin no one swindle me of nothin ma'am" Mr. Jones said as picked up some of the boards and moved them to a random spot in the desert. He dropped the boards down and stretched his hands into the air.

"I reckon you aint done many business transactions have you" Mr. Jones said a little chuckle came out of his mouth and he began to walk back towards the wagon.

"No, my father usually does everything related to business," stated Genesis, pausing from her work to take a small drink of water. "I'm not very good at them, I must say."

It was true. Genesis had been swindled before in all types of business transactions, including love.

"Ma'am you aint gotta bother helpin me...I just reckon I wanna talk to you and sit around...I just need a friendly face ma'am" Mr. Jones said as he quickly turned around and pulled himself up sitting in the back of the wagon. He placed his hands on his knee and gazed over at Genesis. Perhaps even a small part of him regretted not taking her advances.

Genesis welcomed the break, grateful to stop so much sweat from slithering down her back. Her arms were aching from so much work, and moving in the dry heat continually made her exhausted. Taking a seat near him, Genesis pulled at her hat while seeking the shade of the covered wagon. Pulling at a few buttons around her neck, she released them modestly while feeling as if she could finally breath.

"Sitting around sounds like something wholesome in this damn heat," replied Genesis, flashing a quick smile.

(OOC: I really dont want to post all the details about building the cabin hahaha that would be too much XD)

"Ma'am where were you from before this town" Mr. Jones asked curiously. He could tell she was upper class. She reeked of it. His father told him never touch a girl with make up she's got money. She'll want yours.

Genesis felt her mind swell back to her past, a sense of darkness coming over her bright expression.

"I lived in New York, in an orphanage," she replied honestly, her fingers picking at the fancy clothing now in disgust. Ever since she was adopted, she always wondered what became of her brothers and sisters. Did they get the same chance she was offered for a new life? Or did they die working like their parents? "I was a sick child Mr.Jones, and my parents worked themselves to death to make sure I had a chance at surviving...I'm not sure what happened to all my siblings."

Genesis shrugged off the sadness and tried to brighten her persona by changing the subject.

"Where were you from Mr. Jones?"

"I aint got nothin fancy just from a small farm back east...my mother she died after child birth...and my dad...my dad was a chicken farmer" Mr. Jones said proudly. He smiled a bit there was nothing like some good nostalga. The sun dipping down on the little farm. There Mr. Jones would sit by the pen with his rifle just waiting for some coyotes.

"I remember gaurding chickens ma'am...just me and my rifle all night...I aint felt much more at peace then that..so ma'am who adopted ya and brought ya here?" Mr. Jones asked curiously leaning back on the wagon.

Genesis couldn't help but smile at how happy Mr. Jones looked thinking about his chickens. It was an idea to be had, and seemed like it would be an interesting experience. Feeling the conversation turn back to her, Genesis pulled at her gloved hands to remove them from the constraints. Feeling the hot air hit her skin felt relieving.

"Ariona and Edmund Marquis. I'm not really sure who they are, but they are very much strange people. Edmund is a business tycoon who travels between large cities while Ariona seems kind...too kind at time as if she is always looking at me with sympathy instead of as a woman," replied Genesis, a frown beginning to form. "I am grateful for what they have given me, but I want to experience life rather than study it."

(OOC: sorry it took me so long to post I was buuuusy)

"I aint never really trusted no business men" Mr. Jones chuckled and launched spit out of his mouth hitting the side of the wagon. He aimed his rifle over at the desert. His eyes focused on the sand and the catus's awaiting some sort of movement.

"You ever fired a gun ma'am...you need to round here things aint safe" Mr. Jones said his eyes narrowed and squinted. He was hoping a rabbit or some sort of wild life would appear. Mr. Jones would need some food when he began constructing the cabin.

Genesis nodded her head softly.

"I know how to use one enough to hit my mark if need be," replied Genesis. She hated guns, but that was something her mother wanted her to learn while out here. Rarely did she use them and barely kept on practice but was sure she would remember in an instant.
