Albertís body continued to heat, something he did not expect from the blast. He eyes burned a hot white, and he breathed smoldering ash and charred skin, sending a cloud of cinders before him. He slowly began to move, standing up using his sword as a crutch. Thoughts of what happened to him as V ran through his head. Thoughts of the conversation he thought he heard while he was immobile angered him. The Baptist would see fit to punish them.
He began to leave the mine, his footsteps causing fire to erupt wherever he may tread, leaving only small pits of ash and scorched earth.
