The Baptist could not believe what he was hearing. Petty bickering, even after V sacrificed himself to unite them against a cause they were still at war with each other. The Baptist could not comprehend such action and began to lose himself to rage. His eyes became white hot pits of metal.

He found the group of people now, seeing Eva, he recognized her from before, as well as Mr. Jones. He didn't recognize anybody else at the moment, but it didn't matter for him. Lost for words he instead let out a roar that was as deep and mighty as boulders clashing together.

He advanced on the group, hoping to grab the nearest one with his mighty gauntlet.

Eva looked at Albert for a long time, trying to comprehend the situation in her mind. When she spoke, she spoke to Carlos, who was the closest at hand.
"I think we are in a lot more trouble now than we have been this whole time," she said, drawing her gun discreetly but guessing that it would be useless.
"Watch out, guys!"

Larghetto found Jean's voice in the dark before stopping to catch his breath and listen. He caught something about 'doom'.
"Well, it certainly doesn't sound good," he said in a low voice. He paused. "I think this is the safest place you could possibly be right now, though. Nice work, Mrs. Hallow. I should probably go see what's up. Are you hurt?"

Sicilia slowly moved closer to Hellister since Jaime was out of reach. Her hand clasped against the butt of her gun. She could feel her heart pounding. It felt as though it were somewhere in the vicinity of her throat pounding hard against her vocal chords.

Her free hand dangled and trembled from fear. What was this being? Where was Larghetto? What did he mean feed on their souls? Whatever was going on, it was obvious that whatever Marius had warned them about was either nothing compared to the man before them or was the man before them.

Marius dodged the advance that Albert made to grab him. He quickly stepped backwards and aimed his gun at the beast. That's when Marius recognized the beast it was the baptist. Marius's hand shook nervously as he watched the beast that should be dead stand before him. Even the death of Mr. Hallow proved unable to stop the beast. If a mine explosion couldnt stop the baptist what could stop him. Marius glanced over at Mr. Jones.

"You show me my awnsers or the baptist will be the least of your worries" Marius said coldly aiming the gun at Mr. Jones. Marius wanted those awnsers. As if a simple awnser could erase the danger and save everyone. However it was Marius's only lead in this sort of situation. What was Marius thinking he should have been ready. He should have known that thing would come back.

"Fine fine fine" Mr. Jones said quickly waiting for the voices to give him the awnser. There was only a silience from the voices. That's when a tiny whispering was heard that told Mr. Jones his awnser. Mr. Jones felt his mind go blank it was as if all of his thoughts simply stopped. Mr. Jones mouth dropped open and a blank expression came across his face. Mr. Jones looked down the mine tunnel and walked down the tunnel almost oblivious to the chao's around him.

The rage and power of the Baptist's roar broke all cultural barriers and Carlos recognized the primal fury.

Carlos did not understand why his knees began to shake. He felt something in the pit of his stomach, it took a while for him to understand what he was feeling. Carlos was scared.

Carlos took a couple of steps back into the darkness of the mines and then realized he was retreating and acting on his fear.

"No," Carlos said. "I am a MAN. I am the Rooster." Carlos stepped out of his hiding spot and stretched the 14 inch long and thin blade of his pig sticking knife from his belt.

Carlos let out a loud Rooster crow that echoed off of the dense rock walls. "Cockle Doodle Doo!"

Carlos began to strut around Albert sizing him up. Carlos' head bobbed back and forth as he crowed again building up his confidence.

"Cockle Doodle Doo!" Carlos noticed as he strutted that Albert's frame stretched from wall to wall. This was the biggest man he had ever seen.

"Cockle Doodle Doo!" Carlos said getting as near to Albert's face as possible and then darting back.

"There is only room for one Cockerel in here," Carlos said.

Carlos turned to Eva and Marius, "Now the Rooster will kill this overgrown capon and you will see that the Rooster is the cockerel of the walk."

Carlos darted in with his slim knife his arm moving like the arm of a sewing machine as the blade made contact with Albert's stomach in a flurry.

Carlos then stepped back to watch the giant fall to the ground dead from the consecutive stab wounds.

Hellister felt Sicilia move closer to him and he felt her rapid heartbeat pulsing through her body. He mistook her tachycardia for love and passion instead of fear.

"My Lucifer," He thought in this moment, "She still has feelings for me."

Hellister reached for Sicilia's other hand, the one that was not occupied with her gun. When he grasped her hand he noticed how warm if felt in his.

Hellister felt very happy at this moment all the while watching the color drain from the others in the cavern.

"I can see in the dark," he spoke quietly to Sicilia. "This commotion is so disruptive. Let us leave your friends now."

Hellister tugged Sicilia gently by the hand towards a dark passageway.

When Larghetto said he was going to "See what was up," Jean grabbed him as tight as possible digging her nails into his wrist.

"I swear to God Larghetto if you leave I am going to scream and scream until I pass out and die. Please, please, please," she pleaded, "Do not even try it."

Marius quickly paced past the others not even bearing to look back. He heard the Roosters calls and knew that he would be dead in a few minutes. Marius felt his stomach churn in fear as he thought of that thing coming after him again. Marius cringed as he remembered the sight of Nigel's death by that bastard. . Marius felt sweat form on his face. He couldnt look back. Marius looked back as he heard Jean Hallows cries for help. Marius without even stopping to think he motioned for her to follow. Marius continued to follow Mr. Jones as walked down the tunnel.

D was on a mission to find the sheriff of the town Clay Hallow. He walked into the entrance of the mines to hear a loud rooster sound.

"what the hell?" D thought to himself. "Whats a rooster doing in the mines."

D continued down the mines his night vision kicking in. It was pretty much night vision and thermal vision combined. Continuing down the mines pathway D noticed how confined it was in some parts. It was going to be very hard to sword fight in here if it came to that. D withdrew his cape from his Pistol so it was showing and easy to grab. Being a vampire it wouldn't matter but he did it anyways.

If Clay was in here he may already be dead or worse.. Dying a slow painful death. Who was responsible for this? All these questions floated through D's head as he came around a corner and found a giant laying in the middle of the path dead and bleeding out still. D knelt down to the blood and tasted it. It was fresh maybe ten minutes old at most. He was close to someone or something..

"Ow, Ow! All right!" Larghetto exclaimed crossly, attempting to withdraw his wrist from Jean's grasp. He kneeled down beside her, hoping that wouldn't leave a scar.
"They have such a big group there that if they work together I'm sure they can pull through. It's too bad Dragonlock isn't here, though."
He listened in, trying to hide his concern.

Jamie saw Hellister on the move out of the corner of his eye. He stealthily moved to his side, like a cat, and nudged his shoulder.
"Where do you think you're going, Don Juan?" He took out his gun. "You're down here. You might as well make yourself useful."

Sicilia felt Hellister's cold hand clasp around hers before she was suddenly being pulled away. She wasn't sure what to say. How would going to a dark place help the situation at hand? What was Hellister thinking?

Then Jaime's voice rang in her ear. She agreed wholeheartedly with him.
