"Well, for a few reasons, actually. Mostly just because I don't think the investigator business is really for me, and I got offered a job as a reporter too," Larghetto explained, then yawned. "Well, it's getting pretty late. I'm gonna go to sleep... so... G'night!"
He walked into his room and shut the door.

Travis, Clay's 15-year-old-son, lest you forget, knocks on the door.

"Trick or Treat," he shouts through his mask.

"Bonsieur!" Larghetto said with a wide smile, throwing the door open. He was wearing the cat half mask that he had worn at the masquerade.
He dropped a large amount of chocolates in Travis' hands.
"Tell the sheriff man I said hi!"

"Thanks mister," Travis says reaching his hand in the canvas sack and shoving a candy bar under his mask.

Travis looks at the house "I know you, You used to work for my dad. He said you were lazy."

Travis walks away eating his candy.

"Don't believe everything ya hear!" Larghetto called, then smiled and shut the door. He thought it was funny that the sheriff had called him lazy. After all, the way he remembered it, it was himself and Draegan working nonstop.

Sicilia unlocked the door pushing it open. "Okay, time to feed the cats," she muttered closing the door behind her. Sicilia switched on a light and walked to the kitchen. She began feeding the cats.

She gently pet the cats as she set the bowls down. "Don't worry little ones. Larghetto will be home tomorrow," she whispered to them getting up and brushing her dress making sure the cat hair was off.

Sicilia smiled and clicked the lights off as she walked out of the house, locking to door behind her.

Larghetto and Fermata came home from their long trip of visiting the Cassidy family, were satisfied to see the cats happy, and both immediately fell asleep.

Larghetto returned to his house after being trapped in a worm hole for... a long time. How long? He wasn't sure. It must have been days.
He had been camping in the desert before that, so he had to have been gone for weeks. What had happened in his absence? The house was empty. Not a good sign.
"Fermata? Jamie?" he called, looking around. Too tired and emotionally worn, Larghetto dropped his hat on the floor and fell asleep on his bed.

A flyer carrier thows this rolled up notice on your doorstep. It is tied in green ribbon.

"Dear Fermata,

I cordially invite you to attend a free motivational seminar by me, Mr. Gohby Tween.

Some may have heard of my miraculous reformation after having served hard jail time in the neihboring county. Well, it is true. I have seen the error of my ways, have been washed clean of my sins, now I invite you to walk down the path of reformation with me!

Learn how to be a better person, by me, Mr. Gohby Tween. Yes I admit, my sins were great. I stole from the poor, swindled the innocent, and even spent time with women of ill repute, but I have learned the way of salvation, and now you can to.

Stay tuned for details,

Mr. Gohby Tween"

Larghetto walked out the door several hours after the flyer was thrown. He untied the ribbon and unrolled the parchment.
Only after he had read over it did he realize that it was addressed to Fermata.
"Ma souer, Messieur Gohby Tween's inviting you to a seminar or something."

"What?" Fermata exclaimed, running out the door and taking the letter from Larghetto.
As she read it over, her face grew red with anger.
"Il est un homme tres stupid! I will not go, Larghetto!"

"Whattisitnow?" Jamie said as he came into the doorway, in the process of lighting a cigarette.
"May I see the letter, Fermata?"
He took it from her hands and read over it carefully.
"Who is this Mr. Tween?"

"Gohby Tween is a troublemaker and I hate him!" Fermata said loudly, crossing her arms. "This is another one of his tricks!"
