Sabastian let out a sigh on his way towards the house. It was hard trying to find somewhere that he didn't know. At least he was sober and able to ask instead of stumbling around aimlessly. Putting on a smile, he walked towards the house and instead of knocking let himself in. It was better this way, looking to where he needed to go until he found the place. Taking off his hat, he stood there.

"Need any help?" he asked Hellister.

"No No everything is about set, please have a seat at the table," Hellister motioned to Sebastian and Franscesca.

Hellister lit the candels and closed the door and then took a seat himself.

"Everyone, place the tips of your fingers on the planchette."

(this scene seems familiar."

Everybody placed there fingers on the planchette, (the triangle device used on Ouija Boards just in case your metaphysical knowledge is a little rusty.)

"Captain what was your fathers name. We must request that the spirit world bring him forth."

"Hellister, do you have anything to hold on to this time? You know, in case... that happens again," Francesca asked in a low voice.

Sabastian was interested, and felt that he wanted to see his father or at least speak with him. He wanted to know who it was that had killed him in order to get his revenge...

"My father's name is Captain Amic Roere," he said.

Hellister laughed at Fran's remark. "Don't be silly nothing like that would ever happen again."

Hellister eye's narrowed as he began to meditate on the board. "Beings from the netherworld, from the region of neither here nor there, I wish to speak to one known as Captain Amic Roere. One who was murdered most foul. "

The planchette began to move rapidly on the board. It moved to each individual letter until it spelled the phrase, "Let the blood of Roere's descendant stain the planchette and you shall have your wish."

Hellister looked at the captain, "It appears that your father is under the power of some other being. If you wish to speak to him cast a few drops of your own blood on the planchette. I see no way around this."

Francesca just stared at the planchette uncertainly. Within the past few days, she had noticed a change in herself.
She blinked slowly and waited for whatever would happen next. In case of emergency, she had hidden in her cape a dagger and an emergency candle.

Sabastian nodded and from his boot, he pulled out a small dagger and pricked the tip of his index finger, watching the blood drip down and onto where it was needed.

"My father was murdered," said Sabastian, feeling the hardness in his heart. "I've been searchin' for the man since I were a boy."

The planchette absorbed the blood like it was a thirsty plant. It disappeared immediatly after it hit the object.

"There there," Hellister said, "That should be enough I imagine. Now being that is keeping Sebastian's father in bondage, let him come forth or I shall cast my own spell of enslavement upon you."

The planchette whipped from Hellister's and Fran's hand and dove deep in the grip of Captain Sebastian.

"Apparently your father has chosen only you to speak through. Ask any question you wish and i believe your father will answer you honestly."

The candles flickered until they were almost extinguished and the room became ice cold.

"I believe," Hellister explained, "That your father will voice his wishes through you only. Only you are holding the planchette Captain. Thus it will only move by your hand guided by your father's spirit to spell out his wishes."

Sabastian felt something weird happening to his body, his body became limp and head fell forward onto his chest. He felt like a puppet on a string, not knowing what was going to happen next. He could feel everything, and see everything with his eyes but they didn't seem to be in his control...

"Avenge me..." he could hear his voice, but it wasn't his. It seemed deeper and filled with anger. His head moved up by itself, looking at the two in the room but then landing on Hellister. "What do you ask of me?"

"I will avenge you on one condition," Hellister said in a rather calm tone having had several experiences in talking with the dead.

"I and this group here will aveng you if you tell me the locaion of the covenant. Which I in turn will be the location of your tomb."

"It is not in my tomb...I made sure that my son could not touch it. I buried it in a place no one would think of...the cemetery in Clauden under the name Jack Ellemond. You will find what you need there..."

Sabastian's body became limp again, and then he felt himself able to regain the powers of it, quickly stiffening his muscles and sitting up, looking alert.

"Would you like to get it Hellister?"

"Incredible!," Hellister said standing up with delight.

"All this time the ark of the covenant has been right under my feet. All this time, the most powerful creation of man and God has been here, in this dirty little pig stye of a town."

Hellister addressed Captain Sebastian, "It is not a matter of like Captain, it is a matter of must. I must have the ark. We are all in this together now. Even you Franscesca. I have never killed a man before, but I suppose there is a first for everything."

Sabastian stood to his feet.

"Then what are we waiting for, lets get it," he said with a grin. He hadn't been on an adventure yet in this town and he seemed to want to go on one. This town was getting rather boring and now he had found some excitement.

Hellister moved quickly gathering a shovel, pick axe, and verious other items. He hitched a small dagger to his belt and various herbal remdies and amulets and trinkets.

Then he grabbed Franscesca by the arm who appeared to be sleeping and yanked her up out of the chair.

"Don't even think you are getting out of this," He said to her.
"That's whjat you get for participating. didn't your family teach you it wasn't respectable to talk with the dea?"

Hellister blew out the candles, threw the Ouija board in the fire place and turned to the Captain.

"Well, what are we all doing standing around. Lead the way Captain. Should we kill the man who killed your father first or dig the ark up?"
