"Wait!," Jean shouts at Mari and Marius.

"Please don't spill each others blood on my property. Don't you know it is a bad omen for my child. If this ground becomes tainted with blood drawn from hate and cruelty there is no telling how this child might turn out."

Jean looked at the two with sad eyes, "Isn't there some other way you can resolve this? Can't you play checkers or something?"

Mari blinks a few times staring at the woman as if she were insane.

She then looks at Marius and says, "I suppose drugging him IS enough to get away. I could always fight him another time. After all, what fun is watching a 1 handed man duel?"

She turns to Jean,"Adieu. And Thank ya' kindly for assistin' me financially," she says patting her bag of loot.

Mari then jumps onto the rooftops and runs along them as an easy escape route.

"Oh if only there were somebody to sstop her," Jean says falling to her knees in tears.

"I'll never be able to repay that loan now," Jean said sobbing.

"We are going to lose the home, I'm gonna be put on the street with my baby and all."

Jean's tears speckled the soft dirt.

Fifteen gold coins land on the ground.

"Oi!" Mari called, "My bag's a bit heavy. Would ya' mind taking these off mah hands?" she asks from the roof top, "Consider it a baby shower gift."

Jean sees a few of her coins thrown at her like you would throw a beggar on the street.

All of a sudden she crumples from a great pain in her abdomen area.

"THE BABY!," She screams, "I think I'm losing it."

Marius felt everything spining around him. He heard Jean screaming. Then he stumbled backwards a bit. He felt everything closing in on him. He saw Elaina looking at him. Then she vanished he fell backwards hitting the floor. "sorry"

"God I screwed this job up," she mutters to herself, then leaps down from the rooftop.

She walks cautiously to the woman rolling up the sleeves of her faded blue dress with a once white blouse, now yellowed and blood stained.

"Look here, if yeh promise nah-teh send the police after meh right aways," she comforts the woman, "I knows a thing or two of medicine. Is theres anyway I cun help?" Mari asks now feeling guilty.

Marius saw Mari near Jean. He diddnt know exactly what was going on. However he knew it wasnt benefiting him. He pulled a revolver out of his pocket and shot it at Mari. "get away from her you dont know who your dealing with I'm telling you."

Mari snarles in pain and grabs at her now bleeding arm.

"Fine then," Mari says to everyone within ear shot,"with this innocent blood spilled upon this land, I curse all life within this property. May nothing grow, and may no new life come to this home or that of my attacker."

She becomes too weak to jump onto the roof and decides it is safe enough to simply walk away.

As she limps away, she yells over her bloodstained shoulder, "If none o' yous want meh 'round, and don't want any of my help, then a pox upon you!!!"

Marius looked at Mari walking away. He struggled to stand up. He was so dizzy. Everything was spinning still he diddnt know he hit her. 'Pure luck' he thought. "unfortunately I dont believe in curses." He said smirking. As he stumbled towards Jean.

Mari decides to watch the events unfold from the bushes, that were already looking limp. She was curious as to what would happen to the unborn baby and its mother. Die probably she thought cold heartedly. I hope they do, selfish bastards shooting me after I offer to help and give them not only the money I stole from them, but 6 of my OWN coins as well.

'The only thing I kept was this vase and a cruddy painting,' she thought petting a red furred kitten that was now sitting in her lap.

Mari rolls her eyes. 'I was trying to help her, not hurt her. I only kill men.' She turns back to them curious as to what will happen next.

"Please," Jean plead's to Marius, "Get me to the hospital. I'm going to deliver this baby right now I'm afraid."

Jean could barely stand up. She put all of her weight against Marius hoping the young man would help her up. Jean was hoping Sydney would come over and comfort her, being the midwife and all, but she seemed to be in her own little world.

If Jean delivered the baby now, It most certainly would die after birth.
