"you cant be......" Marius said. He saw the desperation in her face. A little guilt came over him. He helped her up. He then lead her towards the direction of the hospital.

Jean held onto Marius tightly, (("I told you to stay away from my wife Undead!" ...Clay Hallow)) lest she fall to the ground from being too weak to walk.

The cramping was tremendous.

Mari simply chuckles to herself. 'Perfect, at this stage of pregnancy, they probably will both die if she tries to deliver it.'

Wade comes jogging past the house, however at the sight of it, he begins to job in place, hoping he would remember who lived there.

“That lovable scamp Clay, how could I forget him!” he exclaims as his memory of Clay suddenly comes back. Having remembered it now, he makes his way up to the front door, now walking calmly.

He begins to rap on the door and shout, “Yo, Mud…I mean, Clay, You there? It’s your old pal Wilson!”

((oh crap. Sorry Wade. I didn't see you posted. Hope you come back again!))

Jean's nerves had settled greatly after the scare with her unborn baby. She was starting to crave wierd and salty foods like pickles. Jean sat in a rocking chair listening to Goop the dog breathing deeply. The dog was napping on the floor.

Clay's business, the self hanging gallows, was hardly bringing in any money. She was living almost entirley on savings.

Jean called for Sydney, the writer she had requested to be her nurse maid.

"Sydney, I want to go out and get some pickles and maybe go for a short walk. They say I should get some exercise, it makes the birthing process easier."

Jean did not hear Dr. Wade kncoking at the door and it appeared he had left.

Sydney lethargically plodded into the room, her hair all a muss and her eyes with bags beneath them, hidden beneath her circular spectacles. “Sure. Sounds like fun.” She said, smiling. She’d been up all night writing; this whole thing was giving her inspiration beyond measure. “Where to, Jean?” she asked, almost sounding a little eager.

"Well," Jean said studying Sydneys unkept hair, "If we go on a walk last I will have to carry the pickles the entire way. But if we go on a walk first then I will only have to carry the pickles one way, back home. So I guess we should go on a walk first right?"

"I would like to get some warm dry air. Warm dry air and sunshine always puts me in a good mood. Lets go for a bot of a stroll in the desert."

Jean flung off her sandals and put on a pair of sturdy leather shoes. "Come on sydney," Jean said leaving the home with a sun umbrella.

Sydney snatched up her pen and her little red book, stuffed them into her jacket, and then pulled some hiking boots over her bare feet. She scratched the back of her head, and trotted out the door after Jean, taking a deep breath of the crisp air all around. “Beautiful day out, isn’t it?” she said, and followed after Jean dutifully.

Miakoda walked with Jean to her house and stopped outside the door.
"Is your husband home? I don't want to leave you all alone," she said, peeking in the window.

Jean looked up at Miakoda with tears still present in her eyes.

"I have not seen Clay for a while. He is out trying to make money. Please stay. Sydney, who was lost in the tunnels, was supposed to be my nurse maid. I am pregnant you see. Do you want to be my nurse maid?"

"I don't know, Jean," Miakoda said, her confidence momentarily faltering. "I guess I can try. I don't think I can be here with you all the time, though. I might be able to do it until I can find someone better for the job."

"Well, I need somebody for when I deliver the baby. And look at all the work to be done here," Jean passed her fingers through her hair disheveling it.

"Who can help me?"

"How long would you need someone for?" Miakoda said. She sighed softly. She had never liked commitment.
"I can try, but that's the best I can offer."
