"Not to mention illegal," Larghetto chuckled, faintly amused. He smiled at Raven, answering her question despite the intruder in the house.
"I don't know why, but it seems like an awful lot of these new people gathering in Clauden dislike sheriff man. I strongly disagree with this. Messieur Clay has somehow lost his position and this criminal thinks he's in charge. Now I don't know anything about that mayor, but I doubt he would appoint someone like that."

Raven gave Larghetto a contemplative gaze before she stepped forward, jerking the girl up by her arm.

"Well," she said to Larghetto as she started draggin the unwanted guest towards the door, "I can't say I'm the fondest of Clay. He accused me of being a witch, but such are the times."

Raven pulled open the door, pausing to give the girl a flat stare, "Break into my house again, and I'll break all of your fingers."

With that, she shoved the intruder out the door, slammed it closed, and leaned back against it making sure it wouldn't re-open until she wanted it to.

"I think we ought to try and get Clay back into office. I don't exactly trust Trigger Happy Marius."

Bianca Smith tried to open the door and was dismayed when her attempts failed. Since she could not get in, she decided to yell at the door instead. "Have you ever felt Pain before? I once did. He was pretty soft."

"Nor do I. Clay doesn't either. He told me to ride the worm into the gym because there were a couple of troublemakers in there," Larghetto said, then paused to listen to the girl outside. He raised an eyebrow. "What do you think is wrong with that one?"

Raven grit her teeth in annoyance at the girl, "Drunk maybe? It's annoying."

The kettle on the stove began to whistle, so she jammed the door with a chair and moved to make two cups of tea, offering one to Larghetto.
Then she sat beside him, temporarily eyeing the gun she had hanging above her bed. If the child broke in again...she could always -really- scare the girl.

That brought a smile to her face, then cautiously she looked at Larghetto.

"Hey, uhm," she bit her lip, "Don't comment on anything you see till that girl's gone, k?"

She smiled, trusting Larghetto, and cautiously removed her cloak. Her wings shuddered a little, and she let them out behind her, sighing a breath of comfort as they were no longer so cramped.

The woman took another sip, once again glad that she always kept her windows covered. She couldn't afford just anyone catching sight of her, unusual appearance.

Larghetto grinned excitedly, but didn't comment. So that's how she had been able to fly. He stretched and took a sip of his tea.
"Wow, this definitely tastes better than the tea at the inn. Or maybe I'm just getting tired of having it every day."

Raven chuckled, and pulled one wing forward, stroking the dragons head on top of it. The creatures orange eyes closed happily, and it let out a quiet purr.

"Well, my tea's organically grown. Your welcome to come over for some anytime."

"Thank you," Larghetto said simply. He glanced out the window, wondering if the girl was still there. He wasn't sure what else to say until she was gone.

Raven then sat her tea on the table, and stood, moving to a cabinet, "Your wound. Let me take a look at it."

She pulled out a rag, and some other perhaps necessary items, depending on how bad it could turn out to be, and moved to sit next to him once more, pouring the rest of the water from the kettle into a bowl.

"Don't want it getting infected."

"I don't think it's that bad, it doesn't hurt all that much," Larghetto said, examining his shoulder. The sleeve of his white shirt had already been ripped by the bullet and stained by the blood, so he tore the entire thing off at the seam.
"Ruined a perfectly good shirt, though."

Raven reached up, gently prodding at the skin with delicate fingers. The bullet had only scraped by, tearing skin, but nothing more. Deep enough though, that she felt it'd need tending to.

She dipped a rag into the steaming water, and started dabbing away the blood.

"You can borrow one of the one's Quintin left if you want. They should be about your size," Raven commented easily, eyes focusing on the wound.

"What an idiot, to shoot you like that," she grumbled, dropping the rag into her lap before she started applying an antibiotic cream, "I mean really, doesn't he know how to negotiate or anything? Why must it be -violence-. Obey me or Die."

She rolled her eyes.

Larghetto bit his lip as Raven tended to the wound, but showed no other reaction that might indicate that he was in pain.
"I guess some people just aren't very creative, you know?" he laughed with a wink. "He didn't kill me, though. At first I thought those were going to be his intentions, but he aimed the gun at my arm on purpose."

The woman snorted in irritation as she put gauze over the wound, then gently cupped his arm, pulling it towards her so she could wrap the medical tape around it. Then she calmed.

"Well, your alright now, though apparently a fugitive." She half smirked, "I hope that didn't hurt to much."

Raven pointed to the cream container on the table.

"I'd suggest reapplying this tomorrow, but the bandage wont be necessary beyond a few hours. Just keep it on long enough to stop the bleeding."

"Eh, fugitive. I don't have to obey him," Larghetto shrugged. He examined the cream, then smiled at Raven.
"Yet again you help me out of a difficult situation. Thank you. No wonder I missed having you around so much."
