She blinked several times, and smiled.

"Well as long as you dont eat my horses, its no big deal." Ok, so it was an at will thing. At least it wasn't spontaneous, and at least he wasn't knawing at her neck, neither would he be...

she hoped.

She liked to give the benifit of the doubt.

She turned back to the stew and eyed it, "Anyways, your secrets safe with me. Grab a bowl, dinners ready."

"Thank you..." He replied, releived that she took it the way she did, if she even beleive him.
He walked over and grabbed a bowl and filled it before sitting down. He must have looked nervous, because he knew Isril wouldn't leave it at this.

She filled her own bowl, and sat in a chair, crossing her legs underneath her.

"Something else is on your mind." She commented before eating her soup quietly.

"Stop doing that, you're making me feel like an open book..." He replied in a slight tease, but quickly went into a serious tone. "Just wondering about the attack, that's all..."

She ate, obviously in thought too, "You think their will be another one?" She queried worridly.

If so, this town was severly unprepared.

Hellister rode up to the ranch. He was going to find a safe hideout for a while, until things settled down. His dear Morrigan would be too much of a hinderance for him at the moment. He hoped that Raven would be kind enough to care for her. He stepped up to the door and knocked.

Quintin stopped his spoon mid air as it knocked on the door. He was kind of happy that the conversation had been interupted, but what if someone had followed him there?

He sent a disturbed look at raven while still holding his spoon mid air.

She got out of her chair, setting the soup on top of it before she walked open and peered out the door. At the site of Hellister, she swung the door wide open and smiled.

"Hey, come on in, I just made stew."

"Well Horse Whisperer, I am hungry and stew sounds rather apetizing right now," Hellister walked into the room and saw the hulking Quintin in the room. "Hi," he said wondering if he was interupting something. The man looked to be in anguish.

"Raven before you fix me a bowl of stew, I would like to ask your permission to leave Morrigan with you for an indefinate amount of time. This town is getting dangerous, not just from the law but other forces. I heard several people died when the tavern collapsed on them, deputy dan is dead by unknown means, and other things are going on that I don't want to get sucked into. I am going into seclusion fo a while. I have family that is vunerable, and who I wish to protect."

Raven stared at Hellister for a few, and contemplated this.

"If you leave, the sheriff and everyone will think it's to escape hanging." She crossed her arms and walked over, fixing Hellister a bowl of stew and handing it to him.

"He'll probably send people to chase you down." She looked out the window, and nodded.

"If your insistant on leaving, we'll keep Morrigan here until you return."

"You should leave as well" Quintin interupted. "It's not over yet, it never is."

Raven shook her head firmly.

"And look like some kind of coward!? No way! Besides, no offense Quintin, but no one can care for my horses like I can."

Perrin had been aimlessly wandering and studying the town's layout when he came upon the ranch. For some reason, he felt drawn to this house, and he decided to find out why.
His heavy white cape swept behind him as he strode to the door, pulling up his hood before he knocked.

"Then I will protect you if I can..." Quintin replied and grumbled for a while over her stubborness. He turned to the door as it knocked, a party?

Raven smiled at Quintin, uttering her thanks before she moved to the door and pulled it open slightly, blocking any view in with her body.

"How can I help you?"
