Sorry I'm late; there was a fight at the candy shop. I gave two suckers a licking they'll never forget.

A crooked sign hangs on the front door of Locke House, reading "Welcome to the Locke Box." Draegan had made it when he first moved to Clauden. The house itself is dark brown and red on the outside. It is a tiny place with only four rooms; the living room, the kitchen, the bathroom, and Draegan's study/bedroom. The study is filled with books on the paranormal, bookshelves on which to keep them, papers, and Draegan's bed and closet. The closet is filled mostly with dresses and skirts, but he does own a few articles of male clothing, which he wears on off days. The bed is small, and Draegan is lucky if he can find a position in which all of him is on it at once. The kitchen is never clean, as Draegan is a fairly good cook and hardly ever eats a meal out. The bathroom vanity is cluttered with makeup and hair accessories, and a faded photograph of Draegan's mother is propped up against the mirror. The living room is nothing special. There are a few chairs, a radio, and a window through which Draegan likes to watch the sunset or the rain.

Draegan ducked inside, his clothing a wreck. He unlaced his shoes and corset and disrobed quickly. He trotted over to his closet and pulled out a button-down shirt and a pair of slacks. He donned them with little ease, as he clearly didn't wear pants that often. He retrieved a hanger from the closet and used it to hang his dress upon until it could be washed. As Draegan passed the mirror, he noticed exactly how bad he looked, and hurriedly washed his face and combed his hair, deciding to wear the latter down, except for two black beads accenting the two longer strands on either side of his face. He pulled on a pair of boots and exited the house, taking care to lock the door behind him.

Mr. Tween had a headache. He had lost valuable client papers and was still disturbed by the recent happenings.

He sulked up to the front of Dragean Locke's home. He couldn't tell if anyone was home but he needed a place to stay and didn't feel like doing anymore walking.

His best suit was ruffled and he wanted a good bath and some pleasantries.

"Hello," Ghoby said loudly.

After investigating a little it was clear to him that nobody was home. He was tired of waiting and wanted some pleasantries immediatley. After having recovered some of his disposition he decided to walk to the tavern. He would be back though.

This house is a bit small, he thought after returning to it for the second time, but I will only have to stay for a few days. I do hope the occupant has returned.

Larghetto rode into the area on Bach, only to find he had lost Draegan. He had wanted to pick up weapons first... hadn't he? Larghetto decided that they must have gotten seperated when he ran away to get his horse. The more he thought about it, the more likely it seemed.
Meanwhile, he spotted a man standing near the house whom he recognized, for he had seen him on previous visits, as Mr. Tween, though whom he had never formally spoken with.
"Bonsieur! Ghoby Tween!" Larghetto dismounted and smiled as he put on his hat and walked toward the saleman.

"Larghetto!" Draegan appeared from nowhere in particular. "Oh, and... Go Between?" Draegan said, unsure how the name might be spelled. "Nice to meet you."

"Splendid, Oh wonderful, a warm hello to the both of you. You don't know how happy I am to recieve such a warm welcome. Seems things have been a little rough and ugly here in Clauden lately."

He looked at Dragean, "I'm guessing your Mr. Locke the owner of this cozy home. If you would I could sure use a room for the night. I assume you know of me, a traveling salesman, so I won't go into details. And you," he said to Larghetto are, "very well dressed and your name might be....?"

"I'm Larghetto... Allemande," Larghetto replied cheerily, "Actually, messieur, c'est bizarre... but I was hoping to run into you. We were looking to buy some cutlery, and I wasn't really sure where to find you."

"Larghetto Allemande hmmm well your in luck. I happen to be selling the BEST life insurance policy in all of Clauden that will protect your loved ones, your wife and children, if you were to meet a sudden demise. If you end up having an unexpected death, with the exception of suicide, your dependents, wife and children, would recieve whatever you put into the policy PlUS this insurance company will match that sum by 100%."

Tween paused, "but I have cutlery to if that is all your interested in." Gohby opened up a briefcase he was carrying. "What are you looking for in particular? I primarily carry butcher knives for sluaghtering pigs, but I have a few odds and ends and at the postmasters I have a larger stock that is not immediatley portable and has been shipped to me. When I leave a town I simply ship it to my next destination, quite practical actually."

"Life insurance? I'm not really supplying for anyone...yet," Larghetto smiled brilliantly, "As far as knives go, do you have anything along the lines of self defense? Back-up for guns, you see. Oh, and before I forget, messieur... do you happen to stop by Laughlin anytime on your route?"
He reached down and picked up a stray cat who had located him and had been attacking his coat.

"Self defense, yes I have a few but it is not my main product," he prouced a longer than normal switchblade with a pearl inlaid handle. "I've been in towns where there are people so skilled with knives that they use them effectively against guns, clubs, and most every other weapon you can imagine. This one here is of the highest quality. It is quiet and is puncture proven."

"I don't know a lot about knives, but a quality switch blade would definitely be effective," Larghetto let the cat down onto the ground where it scurried off.
"How much would you sell that for?"

Larghetto smiled.
"Sounds like a good deal to me. What do you think?"
He looked back at Draegan.
