Sorry I'm late; there was a fight at the candy shop. I gave two suckers a licking they'll never forget.

"A good investment, I'd say," Draegan agreed. "However, I don't suppose you'd have anything more... substantial..."

"Substantial, you mean like a sword, or something else, no I'm afraid I don't carry that type of cutlery. So here is the secret I want you to keep, I want you to know I am looking for the drunkard Jed Daniels, this is the secret that you must not tell anyone, Do you know of his whereabouts? Remeber you can't tell anyone, Here is the switchblade."

Draegan took the blade, and turned it around in his hand. He held the handle tightly in his slender hand. "Very well, then. We won't say a word. I overheard that Raven would know where he is." He sheathed the blade and tossed it to Larghetto. "I didn't expect you to have a sword or anything, but perhaps a butcher's knife or a santoku..." Draegan buffed his nails on his shirt nonchalantly, looking at Gohby out the corner of his eye.

Larghetto almost dropped the blade as he caught it, but recovered and pocketed the knife in his right pocket beside one of his derringers.
"Oui. The last I've heard of Jed Daniels is he was going to confess with Mademoiselle Raven, but then something bad happened. Perhaps he went to the hospital?" Larghetto offered, shrugging, "That poor cow, though..."

"Oh indeed, the poor cow," Tween smiled. The hospital, he thought to himself overjoyed. "Well enjoy your knife it seems I've just remembered I've got an appointment to sell some insurance," Gohby hurried off in the direction of the hospital.

"Odd," Draegan said, scratching his head. "He didn't even stay to hear whether he could stay with me or not." He grabbed Larghetto's wrist and entered the house, heading straight for the kitchen. He let the boy go and started shuffling through drawers, searching for a knife for himself. "Let's see, I'm somewhat of a cook, I should have... ah!" Draegan turned to Larghetto, a large, broad santoku in one hand and a pointed butcher's knife in the other. "Here we go!" He slipped them into two pockets on the sides of his pant legs. "Pants with hidden knife holsters should be standard-issue for people in my line of work. I have dresses like this, too."

"You know what would be really ironic? If this guy we were looking for somehow died, and all of our preparations were a complete waste,"
Larghetto smiled, then realized this was probably a weird thing to say and simply shrugged.
"Just a thought."

(( OOC: Oh, you SUCK! ))

"Well, you're certainly pessimistic today," Draegan said, his smile glistening as brightly and dangerously as the knives in his drawer. "What say you we go and see for ourselves?"

Gohby was ready for a nice nap. He returned to Dragean's home and knocked gently.

Draegan strode into the entryway and opened the door. "Hello, Mr. Tween," Draegan said, wearily. "What can I do for you?"

"I wasn't being pessimistic..."
Larghetto mumbled quietly as Draegan opened the door. He then rushed to the entrance with pointless excitement and smiled at Gohby Tween.
"Messieur Tween! Weren't you just here?"

"Hello!" Remy called through the window. "Did anyone see today's paper? It was awful, just awful. The printing press must have broke. All the type was white and the background was gray. It was impossible to tell where the letters ended and the background began. I am a bit disappointed I must say. See, I'm new in town and was hoping to learn about this here place by reading the paper. But shoot, that would be harder to do then to look a fly in the eye!"

"Sure," Draegan said. "Though you won't be able to reach my bed, I'm afraid. I have a couch in the front room that you could sleep on..."

Draegan turned to Remy, his hair fanning out behind him. "Hello, Miss, what can I do yor you?"

Perrin had been contemplating where and how to build a new bell tower when he heard a shockingly familiar voice. Glancing over his shoulder, his eyes met with the familiar black pigtails and white outfit of Remy.
How could this be? He had learned a lot over the past few days... had she been revived as well? It was much too far in distance and in time for her to be here...
This mystery was too interesting for Perrin to just stand his ground. He had always been somewhat obsessed with death.
Stealthily he swept up behind Remy and draped an arm around her shoulders.
