Jamie straightened out his clothes after being put down by Francesca.
"Thank you. I was wondering when someone would take notice I was still down there," he said, then to Hellister
"If it makes you feel any better, I knew you were joking. I was too if you didn't catch it."

"Doc, you ought to be in bed, what the hell you doin' this for anyway?"
"Wyatt Earp is my friend."
"Hell, I've got plenty of friends."
"I don't."

"Well get under the beam then," Hellister said.

"When I get this home I have a great idea. I am going to shrink Karry so I will be able to manage her better."

Hellister put Jamie under the machine and pressed the button.

Jamie returned to his normal heighth and leapt to the ground before he knocked anything down.
"It worked, all right," he said, examining himself. "Yeeeap. Back to plain old me."
The slight tone of disspointment in his voice could easily be detected. He smiled at Hellister and Francesca, for he didn't feel comfortable smiling at those who were three inches tall.
"I'm going to retrieve my stuff now. Hopefully that portal's all sealed up. I will see you all sometime in the near future. Or maybe never again. Who knows what lies in store?"
He walked out of the house, whistling a tune.

Wade enters his home again, oblivious to the apparent fiasco he conveniently chooses to ignore do to a more pressing story arch.

He walks up to a large machine, a number of tubes and wires and other connection running in a giant rat’s nest of confusion. “Ok, so uh, temporal flux gates, what can you tell me they did. And if possible how they work. This might take a while to start up so uh, tell me what you might know about them,” says as he opens the door and lets her walk in in front of him.

"Temporal...?" Francesca looked around as she walked inside. "Uh, well, me, my cousin, my sister, and Roland Wile were having a seance. Suddenly, everything got really dark. Impossibly dark, I mean. Darker than dark. And then this thing in the corner of the room started sucking us all in and we ended up in your diary. I have no idea how it works."

“Yes, I have heard of an occurrence like this before. However this particular phenomena is largely unknown about. A hole of utter blackness, or black hole, is to the scientific community completely uncharted,” He closes the door behind him, forgetting to lock it. “To think, something like that here in Clauden, simply amazing. I have a machine here,” He walks towards his machine occupying most of the space and motions towards it, “that can only begin to duplicate the effects, would you mind monitoring to observe the details?”

"Sure, I guess," Francesca said uncertainly. She leaned over the machine, mystified by the technology involved, then stood up.
"What would you like for me to do?"

“Just, stand there like,” he said, motion for her to stand almost directly on the center of the device, holding out an arm to assist her in getting there as the path was slightly unstable, while grabbing a conning box with his other hand. “If my calculations are correct, it should at least darken the room. If that is the case, say if it is the same kind as before. If any other condition of the previous event are met, you will be sure to note such yes?”

"Okay, got it," Francesca said. She walked to the designated area and absentmindedly brushed a few strands of hair from her face.
"I hope this isn't potentially dangerous."

“You more than I” Wade said, giving a sly grin, and pressing a button on his conning box. The room was filled with a buzzing noise, as if a number of bees suddenly flew in. The room darkened, but not all at once. It was as if the sun was setting, even though the lights were all electrically powered in his room. It wasn’t pitch black, but dark, dark enough to not know something was in front of you until it was right behind you. The room seemed to get pulled together. However, you wouldn’t know unless you could feel things better than others. It was enough to maybe move a strand of hair, and only if you were close to the center of the room.

Francesca blinked several times, trying to adjust her eyes to the darkness.
"Yes, this definitely is very familiar," she said slowly in an uneasy tone. Who knew what this thing could do?

The oncoming darkness Hid T-Ray’s movements. The hum of the energy flowing through the machine silenced him. He had seen Wade leave Sion’s mansion when he was following Roland. He didn’t bother checking to see if the door was locked, he was Wade Wilson, and knew that Wade Wilson doesn’t lock his door. He didn’t make the same mistake; he locked it behind him, still silent. He came in, closed distance, and was behind Wade. Fist raised, he pulled back and swung.

The lights came back and all was silent, with Wade now a crumpled unconscious heap on the floor, and T-Ray standing over him, like a bear that just made his kill.

"Doctor?" Francesca said quietly. She had a feeling that something was wrong, and looked around frantically as her eyes reacted to the sudden light.
As she gradually began to make out the shapes, she inhaled sharply and put a hand over her mouth, slowly backing away from the scene.

“Right, like I’m just going to let you walk away from this so you can tell the police.” T-Ray said mockingly, “Sit down, and enjoy the show, cause I’ve been waiting for this my whole new life, and it’s time to take back my old one.” T-Ray picked up the unconscious Wade, sitting him in his favorite chair, allowing him to begin the process of tying him up, keeping an eye on Francesca to make sure she didn’t try to warn the proper authorities.
