T-Ray lost his sadistic glee, and arose again to his feet. This time however, what could only be described as a bubble of energy surrounded him, expanding outwards, knocking Wade to the ground, “Trust me Wade, our relationship never lost its magic.”

Armor formed of green mist flowed to him from nowhere, a sword of likewise material soon followed. T-Ray’s eyes again flashed with his all too familiar green malice. With a flawless lunge, T-Ray struck at Wade, proving that somehow, green mist can puncture skin. The blade of mystic energy went deep, grazing against Wade’s lung.

“Thinking your healing factor might work? It’s a little more complicated when it’s magic. IF it heals at all, it will take you more time. How long do you think you can hold out with that hole in you now Wade?”

Wade stumbled over, clutching his gut in pain as he struggled to stay standing. T-Ray was unfortunately right; Wade couldn’t feel the normal sealing of his wound, and the halting of blood.

‘Those effects…were so cool…I should learn magic or something’ Wade thought as he managed to pull himself up, still keeping his unarmed hand on his wound, the other ready to attempt to block anything T-Ray did.

Francesca had fallen into what seemed to be a trance or a loss of words or a state of shock or something else with similar effects.
She seemed to be dazed for what felt to her like days.
Noticing that Wade was bleeding a considerable amount now, she looked up.
"It's just a scratch. You can still get him," she said slowly.

T-Ray whipped around at hearing Francesca, a devious grin crossing his face at the occurrence of an equally devious idea. He stepped closer to her, close enough to strike at a moment’s notice (and considering the length of his arms, didn’t have to be that close at all).

“Now, how about proving you are in fact, the real Wade Wilson? You have just suffered a major wound, and attacking me could result in your demise. On the other hand you could run, saving yourself for some more time, however, she will end up very dead. We both know how the real Wade Wilson would choose, so make your choice now.”

Francesca squealed, shielding her face with her arm. She had to say something. Everything would have been fine if she had just stayed silent like she was.
"Wade," she said worriedly, not taking her eyes of of T-Ray. This wasn't good. Something told her she wasn't going to get any help.

’What the real Wade Wilson would do…right.’ Wade thought to himself, unsure of what the real Wade would do.

Possibly he couldn’t think of what he would do because he was really trying hard at not killing any more people. But mostly, all he could think about was T-Ray idiotic grin crossing his face. That, and the fact that in Clauden, he was just about to lose one of his friends if he didn’t do something fast, and he didn’t have many.

A flick of his wrist sent his harlequin’s kiss launching from him, heading alarmingly fast towards T-Ray’s forehead. He twisted his flip belt with his off hand, altering the tension enough on the harlequin’s kiss to make it think the user wanted to shoot out wires. It connected hard, sinking deep into T-Ray’s head, quickly releasing enough monofilament to turn his brain into a grey matter pudding. Before T-Ray knew for sure what was going on, he fell limp to the ground.

“And, I was hoping I wouldn’t have to kill any more people.” Wade said, somewhat limply.

"Dear god," Francesca said in a shaky whisper, once she regained her ability to speak.
She had never had such a close run with death before.
She approached Wade, still looking at T-Ray.
"Is he really dead? Are you sure? Are you okay? I know it's not just a scratch. How bad is the wound, really?"
She was acting strange, but who wouldn't.

“Him, yeah…he’s” Wade couldn’t finish his sentence before T-Ray became nothing more than a disapating green haze. “Now that is a cool effect, I really need to learn this magic stuff.”

“Yeah, this is nothing, it’s nothing.” Wade put his hand back over the wound, he still wasn’t able to begin his healing factor. A small amount of blood was beginning to pool at his mouth, he swallowed it to keep from making Francesca worry about him spitting out blood now.

“What the real Wade Wilson would do…what a character right? That wacky T-Ray.” Wade said, trying to laugh it off.

Francesca watched as T-Ray dissolved into nothing. She didn't trust it. It seemed like one of those things that a villain would do, only to come back later in an even more powerful form. Oh wait, she had never seen anything like that happen before.
All the same, she didn't trust it.
"Listen," she said, looking up. "I don't know what all of this 'real Wade Wilson' stuff is about, but I'm sorry I got in the way... and stuff. Uh, I guess I should say thanks for saving me, even though it was sort of in self defense too. No one's ever done anything like that for me before. Are you sure you are okay? That really doesn't look good. Maybe you should have it looked at."

“Looked at? You mean by like a doctor?” Wade glances down at it then looks back up, “Looks fine to me” Wade says trying to keep a straight face.

“You right, who knows what the real Wade would do. I did what I did, that works great right?” Wade looked around for his chair, when he saw it smashed asunder he frowned, mumbling obscenities that would make a sailor blush.

Francesca smiled solemnly. She looked at the shards of the broken chair absentmindedly, not completely sure what to say or do now.
"...do you want me to leave, Doctor?"

"What? Huh? Yeah, no, ok," Wade was starting to feel dizzy and disconnected from everything, "Wait, no. Did, the thing work? The black hole thing, it worked right? A little bit?"

"Huh?" said Francesca, distraught. "Oh. Oh! Yeah, it worked a little bit. I mean, it definitely wasn't as strong as the original was, but it replicated the effects quite nicely, I thought."
She screwed up her face after hearing that last sentence. When had she started talking like that?
"Maybe if you experimented with something smaller than a person then you could pull it into the vortex."

Wade felt his energy rapidly depleting. He made a frantic grab for his flip belt and gave it a twist, making the gravity around him null. He didn’t worry about standing anymore; however, a perceptive person would notice that the blood was no longer running down his side, but forming small blobs around him.

“Yeah, smaller, good thinking. You sure you’re not a doctor?” Wade laughed weakly at his own joke, “Well, see ya around cool cat.”

Francesca, being the perceptive person that she was, stared at the blood floating beside Wade. She frowned. What was that about?
"Okay," she said softly. From her perspective, the chances seemed slim that she would see him again after this. It made her feel a little sick.
"If you... change your mind about getting help... dad's a doctor and I think you know where I live for some reason, so, uh, yeah. I guess that's it."
She nodded and made her way to the door, reluctant to leave.
"Goodnight, Doc. It's been fun."
Francesca finally managed to pry the door open and walk out of the house.
