Wade smiles when she leaves, and kicks off of the wall nearest to him, bringing himself to float over the machine taking up most of the room. Hovering over it, the machine now soundless as it finished running long ago, there was an eerie silence about the room that Wade broke when he began speaking, “Hear that Omnissiah? It worked, just like how you planned it. Now I’m gonna make it smaller, it’ll be great, everything you wanted right?”

He speaks like a child, speaking to his father, complete awe and adoration in his voice; as if he was the only one who understood the true nature of things. Perhaps it would be less troubling if somebody else were actually in the room. The noise bounces around, echoing loudly in the large room.

By now the blood from the wound had clotted, but not before leaving a great mess about things. The room now smelled like a dead animal, the kind you have to peal off of a road with a shovel. Wade was pale, but wasn’t dead yet. The lack of gravity around him allowed him to continue working; not having to hold himself up was a benefit. He was rapidly dismantling parts of the large machine in front of him. Opening panels of it and at time crawling inside completely, only to return moments later with random odds and ends that used to make up the machine; it was his way to dive for pearls. He continued this for who knows how long, until he decided he had sufficient parts, and he began piecing them together. Scrapping some, altering many, creating new. Who knew what he was making, or how long this would go, or how much longer he could stay conscious, his face now as pale as alabaster.

After some time of building, he comes to like what he has made, and places it in the back of his pants. He gets up to leave, don'ts bother locking the door. Before he goes, he uses the blood coming out of the hole in his gut to paint, "out for lunch" on the door with his finger as a brush.

A flyer carrier thows this rolled up notice on your doorstep. It is tied in green ribbon.

"Dear Wade,

I cordially invite you to attend a free motivational seminar by me, Mr. Gohby Tween.

Some may have heard of my miraculous reformation after having served hard jail time in the neihboring county. Well, it is true. I have seen the error of my ways, have been washed clean of my sins, now I invite you to walk down the path of reformation with me!

Learn how to be a better person, by me, Mr. Gohby Tween. Yes I admit, my sins were great. I stole from the poor, swindled the innocent, and even spent time with women of ill repute, but I have learned the way of salvation, and now you can to.

Stay tuned for details,

Mr. Gohby Tween"

The mail carrier was heaving around an especially heavy sack. It was filled with several books of the same title.

The book read,

"Go Be Somebody. How to get out be-Tween a rock and a hard place."

It was Ghoby Tween's new self help book published by Penguin books Now, thanks to the hospitality of Gohby Tween, it is yours.

Gohby sent off several copies of his new book free to special people. Inside was a message scrawled in Ghoby's writing.

"Dear special friend,

This book can help you get on the right path. I will soon be renting an auditorium space for my free book signing and seminar. Please mail me a letter if you will be in attendance. Free food will be provided! Please forward that letter to Isril's masnion, where I will now be residing."

Also inside the book was a one dollar bill. Gohby had become rich by selling his book in the other county.

Wade arrived back at his house, still heaving around the corpse on his back. As he opens the door, he glances down and notices the two papers at his doorstep; however at the time all he managed to do was kick them inside, as his hands were quite full.

He makes his way into the kitchen area of his house and slumps the corpse onto a table he had reserved for work on various corpses (however no work of this nature prior to today). He eagerly begins his work, and considering the type of work, the eagerness to perform the tasks is not a good thing. Carving off all the necrotic flesh with your average boning knife, working with the skill of a butcher who has had years of medical school. Tossing whatever rotted pieces he lobs of aside into a pile that turns rather messy quickly.

Half an hour goes by, ending with a large pile of rotted flesh and curdled blood in one side of the room, and a carved up husk of flesh in the other. Wade now a sweaty mess wipes one sleeve across his brow and sighs deeply in relief. Now that that was out of the way, he could begin the real fun part of the work, that he wasn’t certain would work or not actually.

He goes into one of his cooling units and pulls out a syringe full of a thin red liquid. He stands over the corpse for a moment or two before best deciding on a place to inject at, and makes his move. Quickly he slides the needle into what used to be the corpse’s neck, and depresses the plunger; he removes it with equal grace.

He gets a look of displeasure as the minutes go by, seemingly nothing happens. All of a sudden, the smallest of changes, the flesh around the neck begins to mend itself. The newly made pink flesh begins to spread through the body, faster and faster, the reverse of dying. Ten minutes after the noticeable change after injection, a fully formed fully function body. He leans in close to the chest, a heartbeat sounds normally, he opens the eyes and watches the pupils shrink to pen holes under the bright lights of his table. He created nothing more than a shell, a living being with no soul. He covered it with a clean white sheet and took a seat in his favorite chair (which he must have rebuilt).

He laughed an insane laugh in appreciation of his work. All he needed now was an apparition to inhabit the shell; he waited patiently as the spirit seemed to appear at the darndest of times (and amazingly well placed).

Wade however, the fickle little scamp, quickly became bored of the happenings and left to see what else may be happening around the town, taking care to utilize every lock the door had.

Wade, who was currently in and out of the house setting up for his show, was currently home as luck should have it. He answered the door and showed the same reaction as last year.

“Ah yes, again, well, I’m all out of books I could give, but stand by one, lemme take a little look,” and with that he left the door open for a moment to search his house for things he wouldn’t mind parting with. He comes back with a small paper box containing a half a pack of cigarettes that Albert had left.

He tosses them to Travis and says, “light up” before closing the door.

Travis gives a little jump of excitment. He puts the cigs in his pocket as quickly as posible and turns to Miakoda and Cyril.

"He says he don't have no treats on account that he is poor. I feel so bad for this here fella," Travis says shaking his head. Come one, lets go somewhere else.

Travis is looking forward to trying the cigs with a special friend.

Wade flings the door to his house open, clutching his side and gasping hard, despite the fact his pace back was not amazingly fast. He catches his breath while waiting for his accomplice to arrive.

Francesca arrived at a rather leisurely pace, the bag of money conspiciously carried in one hand.
"What do we do now, Doctor?" she asked. "It's not like we can actually go around using this money now that we were present at the scene of the crime. Wait. Were there any other witnesses, besides that bank guy?"

Wqade managed to steady his breathing, leaving one hand on his stomach to help ease the pain he felt.

"I didn't see any, but I can't be sure."

His thoughts drift back to having to dull some of his extra senses when Klay arrived on scene, he decide he would investigate further later.

"Do what you want with the money, I was in it for this," Wade says fulling the pitri dish he obtained from the lockbox in the bank out of his pocket and setting it on a desk nearby Francesca for her to examine.

"I couldn't find my key to my box and they wouldn't let me get it without it. But I needed it, so I got it. I just mentioned the money to get you to help," Wade says with suck a smile and tone to imply he was joking, but something else in his voice hints towards his seriousness.

"But we should probably make an alibi just to be safe. I uh...don't know many people other than you, got any idea for one?"

"Oh. Okay," Francesca said skeptically, not bothering to ask what the petri dish contained. She crossed her arms in thought.
"Well, the safest way to go, of course, would be to get someone to say that we were with them. I believe that my cousin Hellister would cover for us, if I asked him."

Wade gave a grimace of pain and inhaled sharply at the mention of Hellister. He clenched fist that was currently on his gut, attempting to sooth himself.

"Yeah, I don't know how inclined he'd be to help me. He still might be a little peeved about that whole...thing. With the egg, and me steeling it. That thing."

Wade set down his pitri dish and stood up, keeping one hand on his gut, "But uh, i guess it's worth a shot. Do you know where he might be?"

"Oh, yeah, that," Francesca said without paying much attention.
"Well, Hellister seems like the kind who would show up in the cemetery or the cave, doesn't he? But, knowing Hellister, he's probably the complete opposite of where you would think he would be. I bet he's somewhere in town."

"Well, i guess there's no point sitting around here then. Ready and go!"

Wade says as he quickly jumps to the door, opening it and then standing aside, allowing Francesca to go first.
