Wade, after some time away, finally returns to his house. He steps in to drop off a number of things he didn’t leave with. He stays inside for a few moments, and later leaves with another brass plate and a large (what appears to be) telescope and tripod. He leaves his house, locks the door, and places the plate “Dr. Wade – Freelance Astronomer” before starting to leave. He take a short step before noticing a loiterer, and continues to walk away, albeit somewhat slower and in a motion less akin to frolicking.

Clay knocks on Dr. Wade's door loudly, "What," he says to himself, "the guy is an astronomer now."

Clay shouts at the door, "Come out Dr. Wade I need you to embalm this stiff and make him look pretty before his family sees him like this."

Wade comes up, a little sweaty and still holding his telescope and tripod, notebook tucked under his arm. Whistling a tune to himself, he seemingly ignores Clay and enters his house, and a moment later comes out in a lab coat and slaps a plate that reads 'Dr. Wade - mortician at large' over the old one.

"A cadaver you say? Capital! Need anything else while I'm at it? Post Mortem Examination maybe?" Wade says with a strange enthusiasm.

"Geez this man's wears too many faces," Clay grumbles to himself, "A post mortem examination would be, how did you say it, "capital," I would like to find out what killed him."

"He's a real stiffy right now and is starting to bloat a little, I'd pay ya fine if ya could polish him up some.," Clay pulled the corpse into Wade's house.

"I'll let ya take it from there."

Larghetto had been absent mindedly following Clay like a meat puppet.
"Hey, out of curiousity, doctor, what are ya going to do about the big gaping hole in the guys neck?"

"Well, there are a number of possibilities. I'm going to have to examine it first to see what I can learn from it before I decide upon anything. Until I decide how to dress him up however, it's a strict flow of embalming fluids for him, and of course a complete lack of other fluids. But, was the body altered in any way before he was brought here?" Wade says looking through a cabinet of medical supplies and pulling out a large bottle.

"Altered?" I don't think so, we brought it like we found it," Clay said.

"It's commonplace to ask, in case I find anything out of the ordinary that doesn't fit in with any ideas I get. And, if at all possible, do you think you might want me to examine the crime scene after I give me report on the victim? I assure you I am qualified in many areas of forensic studies, including odontology, epistemology, and of course evidence." Wade asks with enthusiasm.

"Forensic studies," Clay repeated Dr. Wade's credntials to make himself appear smart to the doctor,

"odontology, epistemology, ... well I'm protestant myself, ever study that?..........Well never mind enough bout how smart we are... Larghetto what do you think should we have him look at the gravesight? " Clay paused.

"I don't think we need that Doc. Seems our local minister has a pretty good idea what did it. Thinks he can get rid of it too. So tell me a trade secret, how ya gonna fix that guys throat?"

"I was thinking polydimethylsiloxane with a flesh tone cover of cosmetics and some sculpting abilities should do the trick. However, if you want to make sure nobody will recognize it, cremation will always be your best bet. Regardless, I should begin prepping the body for examination before rigor mortis sets in…more." Wade said placing the bottle into one of his large lab coat pockets and sniffing the air.

"No cremation doc, That polymex thing sounds good, but I'm not about to tell ya how to do your job. Seems ya know your stuff. I'll let ya get to work, just tell me one thing, when will ya have this stiff all done and ready for the coffin? I'll pick him back up then," Clay said.

"Hmm, hard to say, I figure it all depends on how long the examination takes. If I find out the cause of death, other than massive blood loss of course, quickly, it should only take a day or so. However, it might take longer, as I may or may not be able to arrive at a reasonable conclusion. I will contact you when I am finished however. Now, I must begin arterial embalming, and cannot suggest you say, unless you prefer things messy." Wade says as he pulls out what looks like a well made thin spike from his pocket. “I shall write it all down in my report, trust me.”

Clay watched Wade perform a finger ballet with thin spike on the paper. He looked at Larghetto and shrugged.

"Naaaa, doctor I don't like ta get messy. I got messy changing Travis's diapers when he was a tot. That was enough for me, Thanks, " he said starting to walk off.

He stopped and looked at Larghetto, "Are you coming boy or or are ya gonna desert me like Dragean?"

"Non, I'm coming," Larghetto followed. "Where are we going anyway, sheriff man? It's almost morning."
