Sabastian had managed to find the place after asking around, looking at the door, he gave a knock since he learned it was impolite to enter without being invited.

"We have to let the pirate in. We can't have a seance in the sun now can we," Hellister opened the door for the captain.

"Franscesca, go fetch some candles, draw the curtains shut, and let us occupy the darkest room in the house. I should like a Ouija board for this but if you do not have one we can make do with other means."

"Captain," Hellister said addressing the pirate, "We will attempt to conatact your father in the spirit world and perhaps he will grant us permission to access his tomb."

Francesca looked aggrieved.
"What? We can't do this here!" she panicked. "We don't want ghosts in our house. And besides, the father doesn't approve of this sort of thing!"

Sabastian came in, and took off his hat politely for the lady.

"Aye, this ought to be interesting," he said, moving into the house and looking around. It was nice and he smiled at it.

"I've never done a seance before."

"Certainly we could move this party to my house then if everybody wishes it. I have a ouija board, proper lighting, plenty of tailsmans and candles, and a proper atmosphere."

Hellister walked back to the door, "I'm sorry Captain, things should have ran smoother than this. But it looks like we my cousin doesn't want to make her home inviting for your father. Please once again, follow me."

Hellister, still holding his painting, departed to his own home.

Francesca said a quiet hello in response to the pirate's greeting and ran back into the house to retrieve her cape for warmth. She followed Hellister, making sure to close the door on the way out.

Wade smiles at the decor as he walks up to the door, “Cactus…” he says with a look of sheer glee before snapping into reality. He knocks on the door, considerably calm taking in mind his recent radical behavior. However, he does not stop knocking; instead he begins a metronome of loud persistent knocks, all falling at a precise time.

Lavender Scowley, now extremely pale and much skinnier than before, was slowly losing her vibrant beauty.
She answered the door slowly.
"Um, do you need something, sir?" she asked genuinely. The strange knocking unnerved her.

Wade stopped his knocking and grinned drunkenly. “Sell me your children!” he blurted out, tossing his hands up in a marvelous fashion. “Your children, I wish to buy them!”

"But there aren't any children here, unless you count Francesca," Lavender replied with a frown. She hated to admit it, but messing with drunk people was one of her favorite past times. "Haven't I seen you somewhere before, sir? I can almost swear that I was shrunken to fit in to one of your books this one time."

"Book? No, that was my scientific journal. Scientific means important. I guess you grew up then huh..." Wade says rubbing his chin in thought before continuing, "Wait...changing the subject on me huh? How much for the children, I'll take a bushel of ‘em."

"But there aren't any," Lavender repeated, peering over her shoulder as if to make sure.
"If you want, I'll make you a deal and sell you some crepes instead. We have too many of those."

“Food? As in eats? Are you suggesting I wanted to buy children for eating? The absurdity of it all!” Wade gained his look of confusion and emptiness back, now with a mix of shock. He chuckles to himself and stands on the tips of his toes to attempt to gaze over Lavender’s shoulder to check to see what she was looking at. Sadness replacing the look of amazement when he saw nothing.

"Sorry. We really don't have any," Lavender said for the third time when she saw him look back. "There's only me, my sister, our mother and our father. I believe that the Hallows may have a young boy, though."

“Hmm, you drive a hard bargain, I’ll settle with your cactus. Surrender your cactus to me.” Wade says as he raised two fingers to his temple, trying to use his non-existent jedi mind powers of persuasion on her, insisting that she wanted to give him the cactus.
