Wade was in mid swing when the door was opened and had to stop himself from following through. Afterwards however, he straightened his clothes and fixed his glasses before clearing his throat.

"Um, yes, hello. I uh. I hear a lot of thing about how you seem to be lots of places..Know lots of things. Well uh, I need somebody to do something for me. Just uh, hold onto something. And use it when I get all crazy like in a bad way. You know? Of course. Just uh, turn and push. easy huh? Good."

Wade held out a bass box, lucky for him, he made multiple of these in the event a key character in his story arch went inactive..

Francesca studied Wade curiously before taking the box and studying it with equal curiousity.
"Wait, what is this thing? And what do you mean 'crazy in a bad way'? Huh?"

Wade scratched his head and started to lightly kick the dirt, as if embarrassed by something she asked.

"It's a uh, thing, that uh, does...something? Ok, I'm not really sure what it does. I can forget things if I need to, and I guess however long ago I made it I decided I needed to forget the specifics about it. So I just have a note, it says 'Self, use if you go crazy. -Self'. So uh, people call me insane a lot. I'm not though. But uh, if I do go insane. And start doing things I shouldn’t. You'd use it right? Cause uh, somebody might have messed with my head. And I don't know what that will do to me. Sorry to bring you into this again but uh...I don't know too many people."

He looked down at the ground, face quickly turning red due to the fact he wasn't sure what his own inventions do. All he could do was hope she would accept.

Francesca allowed there to be a dramatic silence.
"No, I'll do it," she said slowly, though inside she wasn't entirely sure she would know when Wade was crazy and when he was normal.
"Shouldn't be too hard, right? As long as it doesn't end up killing you or something like that. It doesn't, right?"

Wade laughed loud and hardy, partly out of relief that he found somebody to help him.

"Of course it doesn't. Why, I've never made something that intentionally killed me..." he took a moment to rub his chin in remembrance, the spoke in a tone that was more alike to a whisper , "Least not since that one time ten years ago." He chuckles and looks up again, chipper as ever.

"Say, your dad ain't home is he? I think I got a few words for Mr. Fancy-Pants."

"Wait, what? Oh well, nevermind. I'll just take your word for it," Francesca said, only semi-relieved. She tilted her head at the mention of her father.
"Yeah, he's here. I think he's working on some plans for the town up in his room. Why do you want to talk to him?"

Wade grins from ear to ear and speaks in his voice of gasoline and gravel in the most sly of ways, “Well, me and him talked before, and I was going to ask him a few things. That and he the most fun person around to annoy. Just uh, don’t tell him it’s me, or I could go get him…you know?”

"Uh, sure thing I guess," Francesca said. She dissapeared into the house to go find Wolf, shutting the door behind her without thinking about it.

Wolf opened the door shortly after Francesca's departure.
"Oh," he said, seemingly dissapointed. "Hello. Did you need something from me? If it is not important, please make it brief, for I am extremely busy at the moment."

Wade laughed slightly when he saw Wolf again.

"Course it's important! Why else would I be talking to you Mr. Pants. You're the mayor right? What'd you think of the show? Cause uh, I'm not above contracting out for government uses...if you catch my drift."

Wade moved in close to Wolf, speaking sly and sounded as if he was holding back laughter.

"The science show? Yes, it was quite astounding. Aside from the bit when that nephew of my wife began causing disruptions, it was a great show. Of course, that couldn't be helped," Wolf said distastefully.
"Contracting... right. Would you like to come inside and discuss this over some wine?"

Wade rubs his hands together and lets himself in, "You sir a man after my heart, quite a charmer. Yes, indeed yes. Which one of the things you saw do you want? All that stuff during the show is for sale you know. That's why I had it. Got lots more too. Lots more."

Once inside Wade begins to take account of everything within eye sight, making a mental note of every detail, and eyes darting wildly around.

"You're teleporter interests me. I shall be right back, please do not touch anything," Wolf said. He walked into the pantry and returned with a bottle of Chardonnay which he poured in to two glasses.
"Sit if you like. Please tell me more about this device you demonstrated. Could it be used over larger distances, say, miles?"

Wade chuckles, "Well yeah but it's not really teleporting so say so it's be a little tricky. It's just moving faster than light you know, so uh, yeah, it's easy to do."

He took up the recently poured glass, however did not drink from it. He did however refrain from taking a seat, opting instead to stand.

"It can send all sorts of stuff. Go apey with it you know? Find out the things i was too lazy to find out about right?"

"Yes, well, you get my meaning. Moving impossibly quickly from point A to point B," Wolf said, nodding. "Yes, indeed. If something like this could be set up between Clauden and a larger city, the need for trains would be eliminated. This would make transportation of materials much more efficient. Think of how this could benefit industrialism! There is hope for this town yet."
