Wade straightened his back and cleared his throat before speaking, and despite the fact he cleared his throat, his voice was still gravely.

"Well, as I said, everything there was for sale. And something this ahead of its time I'm sure you can understand isn't cheap. But for you, I'm willing to make a deal. You make me runner up for your job, as well as President of the Bureau of Chemistry for Clauden, and we just might be able to work something out."

He leaned in when he spoke, adding emphasis to 'President', still not drinking anything.

"Hmm, a reasonable request," Wolf said thoughtfully. "However, you must understand that I will have to consider this and get back to you about it. The way you word 'runner up for my job' worries me a little when it comes to my own safety."

Wade's face instantly turned to one of annoyance. He set his drink down at the nearest point available and began to speak again.

"Of course, personal safety is key. But as town manager, I think you should also concern yourself with the safety of the town. So if a certain person has made a revolutionary rife, capable of semi-automatic fire with an eight round clip of 30.6, a muzzle velocity of 2, 838 feet per second, can fire thirty rounds in a minute, and is giving these most advanced of battle rifles to a certain gang he's the ringleader of, you should want to stop it. Or maybe worse, he might have already done this, and as far as you know, these people, number fifty six men of this town willing to fight and kill at his whim all in the name of a cause. If this was the case, I'd try and help that ringleader as much as I can..." He pauses a moment to take a few steps closer to Wolf and shoot him a cold glare, "Or maybe I'm just imaging things."

"What? What are you saying? I haven't heard about anything like this," Wolf said increduously, staring at Wade.
"As I have already stated, I will need time to consider. Please at least understand this and I will get back to you tomorrow, or you can get back to me tomorrow."

"Aw poop. well, think about it, I'll be in touch. Just uh, say when you think you know or not. See ya later Mr. Pants."

Wade had a vein in his head grow a lot larger than it normally is. However if he was angry he was doing a great job at hiding it in his voice. He turned and quickly headed for the door. This set back his plan to obtain certain materials, however, a new one was quickly starting.

Wade arrived once more at the Wallenstein-Scowley residence in his usual fashion of high speed aerial to surface collision and string of profanities to follow. This time however, he carried with him an old olive bag that was quite full of tools. He made his way to the door and reeled his arm back as he contemplated what song to knock to.

However, considering the nature of who he wanted to talk to, and remembering the first time they met he took a new approach.

"O! bury me not in the deep, deep sea;'
The words came low and mournfully,
From the pallid lips of a youth, who lay,
On his cabin couch at close of day.
He had wasted and pined 'till o'er his brow,
The death-shade had slowly passed, and now,
Where the land and his fond loved home were nigh,
They had gathered around him to see him die."

He sung as loud as he could while still attempting to remain in key. Hoping all family members inside would hear his singing.

An argument over who should answer the door was audible from within house. Moments later, Francesca, dressed in an unusually lackluster blue dress with her dark hair swept over one shoulder, peeked out the door.
"'The Ocean Burial.' You sing lovely, Doctor," she said. It was unclear whether or not it was intended as sarcasm. Francesca stepped out of the house and crossed her arms.
"It's sort of cold. I haven't seen your face around here for awhile. Looking for my father, I presume?"

Wade grinned wide and took a quick glance inside of the house, he then bent at the waist until he was head level with Francesca, “Oh, I don’t think he’d be willing to help me on this little job. Well, not in the way I’m planning you know. Wait, you don’t know, that’s why I’m here, right.”

He stands upright again and clears his throat. “If I recall you are a person who can get into places that um, are um, locked. I just so happen to have a locked door that needs opening. I can of course get you an opener’s fee for this locked door assuming you do in fact open it.”

He then bends back over and in a softer tone, “It uh, also might not be my uh…door. You follow?”

"Oh." Francesca tilted her head backwards in a contemplative stance.
"I can probably open the door for you. Whose door s it, if I might ask? As long as it's no one that I like, I see no problem with it."
She made no attempt to lower her voice when discussing the matter.

Wade looks from side to side, even though he was quite sure nobody was in the area. He leans in even closer this time and speaks in a voice that can hardly be heard.

"It's uh...the bank's. But just the door, unless you can do safes too. Then, the door and the safe. But otherwise the safe is mine."

He leans in close enough to have his breath be felt, and speaks soft enough that the sound just makes it to Francesca's ears. He then stands upright once more, and looks around again to see if anybody was nearby.

Francesca leaned against the doorframe and examined the back of her wrist.
"Well, you know, dad probably does have a key for the bank which would make it easy," she said. It had been a long time since she had done anything illegal. Memories of her mother's dissapointed tears and sister's dissaproval came rushing back to her.
"What do I get out of this again? I mean, how much are we talking here?"

Wade raised a hand to scratch his chin, he obviously had not thought this far ahead.

“Why, you get the thrill of an adventure of course. I could tell from that moment we first met that you yearned for the life of adrenaline and surprise….” He then trails off of his rather animated and lively speech when he realizes his words or probably falling on deaf ears.

“And of course….You know…a duffle bag full of whatever you can fit in it?”

He says scratching the back of his head.

Francesca pondered this for less than a second.
"Sounds good to me," she said. At least if she was with Wade and was somehow caught, she could find a way to blame it on him. Most of her family was convinced that she had repented for her sins.
"Give me thirty minutes and then I'll meet you there, all right? Does that work for you?"

Wade smiled wide and clapped his hands together, "Excellent, I needed to pick up a few things first anyways. Hope to see you there ready and willing for whatever surprises await."

With that being said Wade skipped off like a giddy school girl in the direction of the bank (which happened to be the same direction as his house).

Wolf Wallenstein paced around his richly adorned living room, hands clasped behind his back, features distorted with agitation. He had just about had enough. He was the mayor, and yet no one informed him of anything that was happening. He wasn't sure anyone even knew he was the mayor! Furthermore, apparently someone robbed the bank months ago, and no one found out due to the law force being out of commission, and the potential future sheriff he had sent for seemed to have had to a change of heart.
"Really, Francesca, this is ludacris!" he said to his daughter, who was sitting across the room. "Is there no one reliable? This man was supposed to be here weeks ago! You don't suppose he was killed, do you?"
