"I am jealous of your choice...I can only follow orders and nobody wants a farmer" Dionysus sighed and leaned back in the chair. He looked away from her again choosing to stare out the window behind her. That sky was so limitless and free. It stetched and moved and changed its path and Dionysus truly felt jealous.

"I'm sure you can always help people...I can almost relate I met a man that wanted to liberate men stuck in the past he believed in science and logic and he told men that they had to open their minds he saw the chains of slavery on every man he saw their scarred ancestors their heads hung and jaws broken and bleeding... he grabbed the gun and shot through the skulls of those oppressors and their blood lined the street and he was a liberator and I wish I could be one too" Dionysus said quickly he let out a sigh to almost emphasize how much he had said. He diddnt have to breath his mouth diddnt even move nothing moved.

[OOC: Sorry, midterms >.< ]

Genesis listened to his explanation and wondered what other way she could help him. Did he say he was a farmer? Genesis wondered what it was her family was doing with the excess land that surrounded the left and right of their property. Gardens were complete, the manner grounds were beautiful, but what other use did that land have?

"Why not be a farmer here? If that is a way to start. You will have housing, company, access to our library, and almost anything you could desire," she said, feeling something light up inside her.

(OOC: yeah I had finals this week)

"Too much work to do cant farm" Dionysus shook his head and just chuckled alittle. Genesis had taken the old fool seriously. Dionysus was no farmer he meant it almost a figurative term. A farmer is a man who creates order who tames life and keeps peace. Clearly Dionysus was no farmer. He felt a sort of guilt as he if he hinted something that was incorrect. He couldnt lie to such a sweet girl. He shook his head quickly and cursed under his breath.

"I diddnt mean I farm it was something I came up with while trapped in that dark mine" Dionysus said glancing up at her. He then glanced down at the table quickly. Almost as if to hide his shame. He almost wished that he wasnt stone so he could give her smile. He glanced at a nearby window the light bounced off the dust showing the rays. He had never seen such beauty in so long. That mine did things to Dionysus awful things. He dissected societies in his mind. He repeated quotes. He chased memories. He let go of dreams.

Genesis nodded as a blush crept up; she felt embarrassed for misunderstanding his use for words. It brought her attention back to the matter of the mine and hoping he wouldn't go back. Was there a way for her to keep him here? To keep him hidden? If she remembered correctly, the only reason she went there was due to the rumors she was hearing in the bar about a 'diablo' as 'The Rooster' called it. That man, she didn't remember who he was, the one who had sat across from her. Wrinkling her brow to try and remember his name, she continued to drink her coffee slowly having finished her meal.

"I apologize for misunderstanding but the main point is," she started, feeling herself pause. Was she getting protective for his life? It was making her think more and more on the situation as she kept her eyes diverted out the same window he gazed. "I would like to stay. That mine is not a place for you, and I would hate to say this but I believe town is not too fond of what they do not understand. Even I try to stay away from the people here and venture out at night. Coming and going is at your discretion but the offer is still open."

"Mr. Jones where is he?...probubly back at the tavern...perhaps at the church not here" Dionysus said quickly as he attempted to gather his thoughts. He quickly stood up and began pacing in front of Genesis. Was she some sort of harlot sent to trap him. Was she working with that poor fool. Dionysus stopped looked out the window and then shook his head.

"Why are you scared of these people they are only people" Dionysus said his voice sounded innocent and almost childlike. He gazed down at the seated Genesis awaiting a reply.

[OOC: Warning, wall of text...I'm hyper and on coffee and feel like I'm on a roll...maybe I need a drum set lol ]

The coffee cup dropped with a loud clatter as Genesis felt the anger blush her face since she couldn't look at him. The truth was going to come out sooner or later but he needed to know if he life was going to be in danger. Could someone kill him? She hoped neither of those men could. Her mind was beginning to get cloudy as she thought of the sparrow again...the heat pushing her tear ducts as they began to water as she tried to keep herself under control. With a flick of her wrist, her white fan seemed to come from an unknown pocket as she flicked it quickly to and fro hoping to conceal her emotions.

"Why shouldn't a weak woman like me be afraid? I am without kin or a proper guardian left in this forsaken place," she retorted coldly, finding her old self starting to come out. She was still a scared child wanting to hide behind her mother's skirts would comfort her. Those skirts were taken from her too early and so very long ago; having been forced to stand on her own two feet Genesis knew she was in another fits of her wavering. There were many times when she wished and dreamed for someone to take care of her so she could live quietly and dutifully but alas, it looked as if it would never happen. Still, she knew she couldn't lie to Dionysus since she felt so much respect for him and the ache of her heart to let him be her redemption for the dead sparrow plaguing her every thought.

"I believe I met your 'Mr. Jones' in the tavern while having a spot of tea exploring the town. He took a seat at my table and began rambling asking if I've ever seen a 'devil'. He believed it was in the mines. This young boy, and man who called himself 'Rooster' were talking about horrible things. Killing and taking this 'devil' down," replied Genesis, her fan moving almost uncontrollably fast as she came to the end of her sentence. She knew how this was going to hit him as she felt the fan fly from her hand, flipping almost in slow motion as it fluttered in a clattering motion against the wooden floor. The heat was quickly returning to her face as she bent her head down feeling the bridges finally give way as the tears started to fall onto the fabric across her lap, darkening it with the wet ringlets.

"Dionysus," spoke Genesis, keeping her voice strong and steady. "I will not let those horrible people commit such acts. If I must resort to begging, I will beg you to stay here where it is safe and if you want to leave this place then let me help you..."

Dionysus had seen tears too much to feel swayed by such things. He had been in wars. He had seen mothers heart broken to see their childs body multilated by the cruely of a mans blade. Tears simply didn't effect him. He stared at Genesis in a sort of awkward silience. Almost seemingly dismayed by her crying in front of him. Why would one cry for a stranger. His body stood perfectly still as he pondered this for a couple of seconds.

"You wish to follow me and protect me" Dionysus said his voice sounded full of confusion. He couldn't imagine Genesis actually being sort of a body guard. She was made of flesh and meat not good body guard material. He shooked his head staring at the ground for a moment.

"You may I do not mind I often wanted a companions days are often cold and merciless besides I need a pupil." Dionysus said kindly he began to quiver in excitement thinking about no longer being alone.

Genesis felt relief as a smile finally broke on her still hidden face. Wiping away the cold, damp trails from her face she took a moment to calm. She couldn't believe it, he was going to be safe and she would keep him safe from those beings outside.

"Thank you," she replied, as curiosity seemed to set in. "What would I be a pupil in?"

"Not young enough to know my dear" Dionysus said his voice filled with joy. His mind was spinning in circles and making twists through the thoughts and dreams he hoped to bring about. All his existance he had sought some sort of path. Often changing loyalties almost at the blink of an eye. Dionysus gazed down at the young delicate women in front of him. He politely pulled his chair out in front of him and sat in front of her.

"Mr. Jones poor man...very troubled very broken....why would he want to kill me after all I've done for him" Dionysus said sadly he bowed his head in shame. Dionysus often saw himself as a father figure to the poor man.

Genesis wasn't sure if he was speaking in general aloud to himself, or to her indirectly. Leaning back into her chair, relaxing, Genesis thought about the man named Mr. Jones. Who was he? From the character she saw, he drank a lot while sitting in front of her, lacked bathing habits and looked lonely. Why else would he prey on a young woman sitting alone unless he wanted someone to talk to. Bringing the warm coffee to her lips, she sipped away mindlessly, thinking about Dionysus' words.

"What have you done for him, may I ask?" she questioned, curiously.

"I gave him purpose...or perhaps I thought I did...hell bent on disaster my poor child" Dionysus sighed and shook his head in disappointment. He often referred to people who served him as his children. To Dionysus being a child wasn't an age thing it was a state of mind. Mr. Jones was angry at the world and that was Dionysus's responsibility.

Genesis frowned at the thought someone could be so 'hell-bent', as Dionysus put it. But then again, she knew that feeling very while in her darkened days. Although she was still young, there were so many dark times she felt she had in her life that she needed to make up for by being positive and bright about things. Still, she wondered what happened to her family. After her parents died and all the children went into foster care, it was hard to tell where everyone ended up. No letters, no nothing. Being the youngest was the hardest thing, wondering where the older siblings were and if they were alright while she seemed to live in lavishing splendor just because a couple decided to take a child. Luckily as she was, it still tugged harshly at her heart. Perhaps that was something she needed to do; create an orphanage in this town and take care of the children that help no hope, and try to give them a future. If Ariona was home, she would be able to run the idea through her...but perhaps it wasn't a good idea. What did she know about children? Especially raising more than one in a foster system? All the time, effort, and money. She knew she wouldn't be able to handle it herself.

"Do you believe we could try to give Mr. Jones a new purpose? He did look awfully sad...maybe he needs a goal or purpose in life to look forward to that is positive," said Genesis, her voice slightly above a whisper while her mind continued to work.

"Maybe..maybe...he worries me..he seems capable of harm so misunderstood poor poor man" Dionysus sighed and leaned back in his chair. He moved his head from left to right. The subject of Mr. Jones seemed to make Dionysus nervous. Of course not out of fear that Mr. Jones was any threat to his safety.

"Mr. Jones is chasing something he can never have sadly...I feel one day a man might take advantage of his madness that worries me the most" Dionysus said calmly he stared at the table concentrating on the task at hand. He felt a grip of sadness float into his mind. He had often kept such things in the back of his mind. Perhaps to torment him a different day when he would be much wiser. Perhaps to throw away until he was grinded to dust.

Genesis nodded as she pondered, reeling over the words of Dionysus.

"Perhaps we should come up with a course of action to lower the possibility of that occurring," she said, in no particular fashion. Her belief was the weak of mind were subjected to being easily manipulated into undesirable situations. The subject brought herself to wonder if indeed that same may be happening to her...Pushing the thoughts away, she felt as if she was strong willed and would never be brought off path.

"No no no no murdering...Mr. Jones is too good a man to harm in such a way" Dionysus said his voice changed almost to that of a nagging mother. Dionysus leaned forward and wagged his finger in her face. He then sat back and gazed up at the ceiling. Dionysus often misinterpreted requests being taught by politicians can do strange things to the mind. These greedy lords of old who now rule the dirt and worms. Often plotted with Dionysus about taking care of problems that were similar. The best course of action was a common phrase. It usually involved Dionysus breaking into victims house and stabbing a young ambitious child until the blood stained the sheets like spilled red wine. By then someone had heard the commotion and he would be spotted by a young maid similar to Genesis. Make sure there are no witnesses and so he would throttle her until her sweet tender neck gave out.
