Alexandrea nodded, "I know what you mean. When I tried to think of bridesmaids I realised that I didn't know too many girls in Clauden for all the four years that I have been here." she said with a slight laugh. Alexandrea felt that it was a little stuffy in there and when she opened the window the air smelled a lot like smoke. "Wonder what's on fire..." she said more to herself, but it would be possible for Wesley to hear.

( Been busy, sorry. >_< )

"It's not easy to trust anyone around here either," Wesley said distastefully as Alex walked to the window. When she said something about smoke, he ran over to her side.
"Burning? What's burning?"

He was beginning to feel incredibly paranoid about fire as of late.

Alexandrea had a good view over the town and especially the market. Jusging the position of the smoke... she gasped, "Wesley... I think that's my stand..." she said worredly. "I just had it rebuilt too..."

"Again?!" Wesley exclaimed. He leaned forward and squinted, dismayed to see that the smoke was coming from the direction of Alexandrea's stand.

Suddenly, he pulled something from his pocket and ran to the door.

"These people won't ever do anything to you again as long as I have a say in it," he shouted angrily as he ran out of the room, slamming the door.

Alexandrea wanted to stop Wes from doing something stupid... she really did, but the door was slammed before she could get a word in edge wise. She knew that there was no use in following him and asking him not to. It looked like Wesley had a lot of frustration to work out She sighed and simply walked home.

Miakoda unlocked the door to room 2 and dropped her belongings on one of the beds. Her managers, Cornelius and Darius, followed. She recalled this being Wesley's room. He had obviously either moved from this town, bought a house or moved in with someone else. Most likely the latter. She grinned to her managers.
"That was awfully nice of that man to pay for the room. But... one of you will have to sleep on the floor, y'know."
Cornelius and Darius exchanged looks.

"Um, we'll switch off," Cornelius suggested.

"I'm kidding. I'd rather enjoy sleeping on the floor," Miakoda said. She unrolled a blanket and placed it between the two beds. "Uhm, okay. That's done. What say you we take a look around town? I want to reunite with some people."

"I can't, I have to check to make sure everything we need is here," Darius said with a sigh. "Take Cornelius. Lock the door on your way out, I need to concentrate."

"Oh, are you sure? Alright. Come on, Cornelius," Miakoda walked out the door and her younger manager followed.

Cyril very nearly threw Draegan into the room, noticing that no one had bothered to make the bed before the tavern was shut down. He grabbed his partner by a choker necklace and shoved him against a wall. "Sorry about this," Cyril said, rather too sincerely for any self-respecting vampire, "but every time I let you go cavorting merrily about with your gun and knife, you seem to forget I exist." He reached around Draegan's neck and tried to undo the necklace's clasp. "Please don't try and leave, or else I will wither and die."

Draegan found himself pinned to the wall and sighed hopelessly. "You do have a point, I guess." He adopted the tone of a nagging wife. "Oh, I do seem to be the only one in the household who ever does anything. Without me, you wouldn't be able to take care of yourself."

He reached behind his own neck, assisting Cyril with the clasp. "I wouldn't run away. It's not like I have any prior obligations." He stowed the necklace in his corset. "Or, for that matter, dignity." He pulled his hair to one side and tilted his head, fluttering his eyelashes. "Pucker up, lover-boy."

Cyril violently rolled his eyes. "I could slap you for being such a smart-aleck all the time... but it would be impolite to slap a lady. Unless, that is, I were to borrow one of your dresses first."

He positioned his hands on Draegan's shoulders and stood on tiptoe, quickly sinking his fangs into the drag queen's neck. He felt Draegan bend down a bit and stood properly, stroking Draegan's hair half in gratitude, and half to distract him from the pain. I promised myself not to kill you, you horrible useless man-woman, and I often wonder why...
