« Thread started on: Aug 10th, 2009, 7:45pm »

As a con living in this town wasn't the easiest. Some were easy to swindle others not so much. He pulled off a couple pickpockets and some distractions to gain acess to some cash but noithing big. That where Charles is now, looking for something big.
He Didn't know what to do but he did know he needed the best in the business, which also included himself.

Elliot arrived cautiously, not sure if what he had read was some sort of vigilante trap or not. Then he spotted Charles.
"Oh, him again. It must be him," he said to himself. Regardless, Elliot decided to keep a low profile until he was sure he wasn't going to get arrested. He sat a few seats away at the bar and ordered whiskey. When it arrived, he peered at Charles from behind his glass. Despite being cunning, Elliot wasn't exactly skilled when it came to spying.

Charles shifted his gaze and saw Elliot. They had met once before in this very bar and heard rumours of his talents, which were extrodinary. He could tell he was nervous about the meeting so Charles took a sip of his scotch and smiled showing his white teeth trying to signal Elliot that it was clear to come and talk.

Elliot took a swig of his whiskey, which he didn't particularly enjoy. He looked around him for a few moments, then slid over to where Charles was.
"Mr. Watson, correct?" he said quietly, making eye contact only out of his peripheral. Elliot was starting to fret over his monetary situation, now that the bank had been robbed. He could only keep going for so long on what he had left unless he tried to pull something off fast.

Sakura Yoko Midvalley sauntered into the bar gently holding her side. Damn, how she loved the rush of pain after a tatoo. She glanced around and wondered who in the world had posted that enticing message on the public board. Rather strange they would publicize just a thing. Who was she to criticize though? She was hope for anything illegal.

Since Yumi went back home, she had no partner, or partners, to work with. She needed a job, and she needed money.

Saké made her way up to the bar and ordered a shot of vodka. Her ears perked up slightly to listen to the mysterious men's conversation next to her. Maybe they were who she was looking for.

Bear and Treize entered the bar at almost the same time. It was almost comical to see the pale and much smaller Treize. Next to the much larger and more intimidating Bear. Bear spotted some nearby women and gazed at them for a few seconds. Treize quickly looked around spotting Elliot and Charles. He tapped his brother on the shoulder and walked towards the two of them. Treize grinned as he walked but cringed as he felt the pain of his encounter in the cave bother him once again. Bear followed behind his brother looking around for any sign of the law. This was something that Treize told Bear to do any time business was done in public.

"Is this the meeting" Treize said looking at Charles. Treize diddn't bother looking at Elliots face. Treize had already gotten a good look at him upon the meeting. There was one thing Treize could tell about him Elliot seemed like a rat. After asking this question Treize reached into his pocket and felt his revolver. Treize often did this in situations where there was a potential for danger. He always checked for the gun right after leaving and of course upon arriving to the area of danger.

Charles smiled behind his scotch as everyone strolled in. He could tell they were all nervous by their facial expressions. Elliot was cautious, Trieze was nervous and Yumi was anxious. This would work out nicely.
"Ah, everyone has arrived, we can begin. Now this meeting is here out in the open for 1 reason and 1 reason only, a challenge. Personally I love that trait in a job. This will be the ultimate heist, but first we need a plan and I need to know your talents, but before you speak, this won't be easy but it will be well worth it. Now who wants to begin?

"Challenge? is the challenge going to be getting out of the jail for talking such nonsense in public" Bear said laughing from behind his brother. Bear couldnt help but laugh at how reckless Charles seemed to be. Treize heard his brother open his big mouth and a smile formed on on his face. That was his brother always the one to speak his mind despite the consequenses.

"My brother has a point...my friend my name is Treize and this is my brother he was a bouncer in France he knows how to push out drunk folks and me I was once a bodygaurd for a man in France as well" Treize said calmly he sat down in a chair that was in front of Charles. Treize leaned back in the chair an overconfident smile formed on his face. However Treize kept his eyes on the floor. Treize needed to focus on what they were saying not what they looked like.

Charles laughed under his breath at the brothers. They were to cocky and too worried.
"You see gentlemen the challenge is pulling off an elaborite scheme. Being here in the open doesn't raise the chance of getting arrrested, its actually the oposite, heres why. I sent the add out in public because most people would think it was a joke. I know what I'm doing boys, I've done it many times before. I also know that we are more likley to get caught if we were sneaking around having this meeting. For instance the woman at the bar thinks we are a group of drunks planning a party. I can tell because she keeps ruffling her dress, she's going to come over here any minute to ask whats going on. Details is all that is needed to figure that out, now anymore questions?

Sakura gave a silent laugh. "You haven't been in Clauden to long, have you? They don't take things lightly here? With as much commotion that goes along with this town, they can't afford to take anything lightly," she sighed and took a sip of her drink, "But I like extravagance. I'm in."

Elliot was even more uncomfortable with the arrival of the others. He, too, was skeptical about Charles' public advertising. The addition of Bear and Treize had put him on edge, as he remembered they were at the vigilante meeting. He would have to mention this to Charles.
For now, the normally confident "doctor" remained silent, drinking his whiskey and avoiding eye contact. Perhaps he would just carry through with his medicine show as planned and then high-tail out of town.

The woman glanced over at Elliot with a small smirk and leaned in closer so only he could hear. "You seem uneasy, mister," she muttered, "Relax a little. It can't be that bad. Or is it the brothers you're worried about?"

Treize stared at the ground. He was focusing on attempting to figure out what their next move should be. Should Treize go about with this risky business opportunity. On the other hand Bear looked at the people who were prepared to go with this crazy scheme. Bear looked at each one of them. He started with Charles. Charles diddnt look like a con he looked too high class. Bear was sure if worst came to worst that man would be in the alley crying with broken bones. Bear then looked at Sakura. She seemed like a pretty young lady. However she looked like a depressed angsty teenager. Something that made Bear find her alittle more attractive. Perhaps under different circumstances Bear would have her in his room right now. Bear smiled at the thought of this but then focused and looked over at Elliot. Another man that appeared to be easy for him to defeat. However he looked just a little familiar. Bear's eyes widened in shock when he realized the worst possible senario was in front of him. Bear bent over his face next to his brothers ear.

"Ce que l'homme était de la rencontre avec les porcs" Bear whispered into his brothers ear. Bear moved his hand and tapped on Treize's shoulder two times. Treize looked up two people down from the far right that's what Bear had indicated. Sure enough Treize was looking right at Elliot. Treize gave him a friendly smile to indicate that he wasnt clever at all.

"So sir what are you talents" Treize said looking directly at Elliot. Treize's smile did not leave his face at all. He was ready for some quick undercover cop bull sh*t awnsers.

Elliot choked on his whiskey. Why were they focusing on him? Had they heard something?
"E-excuse me, just a little, uh, something in my throat," he said, then said quietly to Sakura, "Uneasy? You must be mistaken..."
Elliot knew that he would have to regain his usual confident demeanor. He faked a natural looking smile and looked at Treize.
"Well," he said softly. "I'm just a doctor. I'm typically quite honest, and people trust me. I'm really quite good with people."
As far as Elliot was concerned, that was all they needed to know.

"Frère, je pense qu'il vient de lui-même merde" Bear said laughing. Bear was hoping that none of the others knew french. Hopefully if they were stuck in the dark it would prove to be invalueble for dealing with this undercover officer. Treize smiled at his brothers comment on Elliot.

"Alright me and my brother are in" Treize said calmly. Treize kept his eyes focused on Elliot waiting for his response to this. Treize was sure now that this job would prove to be interesting. Atleast one worry would be crossed off of Treize's list. That was the fear of an undercover officer. Well Treize found his officer and he realized the police force diddnt seem to be much of a threat.
