Rodrigo "Blackjack" Castillo stepped off of the Aidyn Express and placed his black derby hat upon his head. He squinted in the sunlight, observing the desolate scenery. He realized immediately that all the rumors he had heard about Clauden were true. It was dangerous. Few came to stay, and those who did never seemed to get out, however much they wanted to. "Certainly is a small town," he said. "No one even waits at the station." He smiled, excited for this new challenge. With briefcase in hand, he stepped away from the train and looked around for anyone who may be present.

The good doctor approached the train station platform. He gripped the train ticket in his hand. Dr. Seward felt his hands sweat from the heat of the sun. The curse or virus that infected the doctor was only a strange seasonal effect. That's what the doctor concluded after the symptoms reappeared and disappeared a few monthes back. The good doctor locked himself in his office with some gin, paper, food and some rats. Dr. Seward almost had an obsession with the viruses that killed the people around him back in Italy. His room was covered with the documented lifes and deaths of those under his care.
Clauden truly did not change the doctor in that respect. The doctor studied his pulse and wrote in great detail about the symptoms. He recorded the random black outs and tried desperately to remember the time between them. The doctor even kept himself locked in even after the virus had gone dormant. He recorded his pulse and other facts then too. He was determined to figure this damn thing out. Eventually the doctor reached the healthy normal state he was in. Dr. Seward was sure that he only had a mild case of this diesease. He wasnt sure however if it would return or not all he could do was hope.
"Hello sir? this is indeed the platform for the train to the east coast correct?" Dr. Seward said rushing over to Rodrigo. He smiled at the man and reached his hand out. Expecting to recieve a friendly handshake back from the man in front of him. Dr. Seward could often be seen at the train tracks. In fact ever since 3 weeks ago when the diesease had become successfully dormant. The alcohalism kicked in and he would become obsessed with home. The only reason he felt he had to go home was that the doctor remembered being without alchohal his entire childhood in italy. Even though Italy had a plentiful amount his father forced him to stay clean. It was only after his father died from small pox. So that's why Dr. Seward had been going to the train station and buying the ticket each day. He had repeated the same buy a ticket for 3 weeks each day something always held him back. This time though Dr. Seward was determined to be gone.

"Yes, I believe it is, sir. Heading out?" Rodrigo said, reaching out and shaking the Seward's hand. He immediately began to form an impression of the man as he took in the little details of his character. This was natural now, something he did without realizing it. The habit was rooted in his days as a deputy when he needed to figure out who was telling the truth. Rodrigo noticed Seward's lack of color in his hair paired with his otherwise youthful appearance. This was unusual, indeed, but Rodrigo wasn't too concerned. "You wouldn't happen to know where the mayor of this town lives, would you?"

"Yes sir I cant wait to leave this town" Dr. Seward said smiling while watching people get on the train behind Rodrigo. Dr. Seward couldnt wait to get passed this man and onto that train. He was sure Clauden had given him all it could give.
"Mayor I'm not sure I dont even know if this town even has a mayor, I'm a doctor that means I stay stuck in my office all day and dont get out much" the doctor said smirking a bit. It was true though all Seward did was stay inside most of his stay at clauden. Atleast in Italy the small pox infections forced you to go outside and interact with the ones suffering from the diesease.

"Really? Is it so bad? It seems like a remote little town like this would be in need of doctors, especially with as rowdy as the West is, Rodrigo said. He looked over his shoulder at the station, then back at Seward, smiling politely. Well, I suppose I should let you be on your way. I am quite sure there is a mayor, as I have communicated with him about the open sheriff position, but I will see if anyone else knows where he may be. Best of luck in whatever your life has in store.

Treize and Bear arrived at the train station. This was usually the most obvious place to find someone on a horse. Either they were picking up relatives or they were using the horse to get home. The stables were not the best of placest especially with people like Treize and Bear who had no money. For now they would have to rely on the kindness of strangers.
"Excuse me we need a horse someone is injured" Treize said quietly to a man at the station. Bear stood right next to his brother and just shook his head. Bear knew that having Treize do the talking was going to get them nowhere.
"HEY WE NEED A HORSE SOMEONE INJURED IN THE TAVERN!!!!" Bear shouted loud enough for everyone in the station on hear. A few people stopped and looked but the majority continued on with their business.

"Yeah there's more to it then a lack of doctors" Dr. Seward said smiling at Rodrigo. Dr. Seward began to walk towards the train when he heard Bear shouting. Dr. Seward couldnt help but chuckle when he heard this. The good doctor ripped up his train ticket and walked up to Rodrigo again.
"So your looking for the mayor eh? I'm sure our new friends at the tavern will be sure to know" Dr. Seward said smirking as he walked towards Bear and Treize. Dr. Seward motioned for Rodrigo to follow. Fate's a funny thing.
"Hello sir, I'm a doctor you said someones hurt?" Dr. Seward said fixing his hair alittle bit. The doctor was trying to look as professional as possible. It was the doctors first chance to show people that he was an accomplished doctor.

"And there you go," Rodrigo said to himself. He followed Seward to the two men. "Are you boys still looking for a horse?" he asked. Without waiting for a response (and despite the presence of Doctor Seward), he approached a man whom he had seen out of the corner of his eye tying his mule to a rail. The two exchanged a few words, and the other man nodded. He handed Rodrigo the reins. Rodrigo walked back over to the group. "It isn't a horse, but I think it might do the job. Just a farm animal, as I suspected, and we can borrow it for a short time. Unless this doctor here is what you need?"

"Thank you for the generosity" Bear said kindly looking at Rodrigo and Dr. Seward. He quickly tapped Treize on the shoulder to remind him to thank them as well.
"Thank you so much and yes we could use the doctor and the horse" Treize said calmly looking down at the ground. Treize had come up with a plan in a matter of seconds. He was going to expose Elliot easily. It wouldnt be much of a challenge afterall he was a quick thinker.

"Very well, then," Rodrigo said. He was silent for a moment. "You wouldn't mind if I accompanied you back tot the tavern, would you? You see, I just recently rolled into town a few minutes ago," he explained to the Romanas brothers, motioning to the train. "I am looking for the mayor, and someone in town is sure to know where he is, I would think."

Treize ignored what Rodrigo was saying and walked over to the mule. He grabbed the reins slowly and began to lead the horse towards the Tavern. Treize was tired of negotiating for the time being. Now all he was focused on was exposing Elliot.
"Your welcome to join us sir...dont mind my brother he's usually this rude" Bear said smiling at Rodrigo. Bear glanced at his brother and began to follow him down the road.

"All right, thank you. Oh, and don't worry, I know his type," Rodrigo said, smiling. He put his hands in his pockets and silently followed to the brothers to the tavern.
