Calix stood there hesitantly. Her eyes scattered throughout the grounds and stared blankly at the many graves that surrounded her. Her hair was on ends but she didn't mind it. In fact she rather enjoyed it and found it soothing. So, here she was in a cemetery and all alone. The sky above her was getting darker as the day went deeper into the sunset that was once filled with swirls of pink and gold. Well, that was all over. And this time the night was here. Once again she was definitely in the best mood because of it. "Ahh." She said with a peacful sigh gently falling to the grass below her.

She hit the ground with a light thud and sighed again looking at the dimming sky. She wished the world could be like this all the time, but she knew people needed light to live. Psh, Living was overrated. Still the silence filled the graveyard and she was happy that no one was around her. Gently the wind was at blaze with a soft quiet whizzing sound. Around some of the old cracked graves were a few fireflies that danced heavily in the air.

This, was definitely the life to live. In other words, twilight was an amazing time of day and she wished it to stay forever. But good things always come to an end. they ALWAYS come to an end no matter what happens.

Maurice had been having a good day. He had finished three graves, bought himself a new vest (it was bright red—his favorite color), and he’d even found a cool little statue of a parrot when he was digging. And now he was walking into the graveyard at his favorite time of day, which was when sunlight was dropping on the other side of the planet leaving it in darkness. He had always believed that there was somebody underneath the earth that threw the sun very slowly over head, and there were a billion cracked suns on the other side of the planet.

His shin smacked into a gravestone as he was walking, due to not paying attention to where he was going. A loud, very colorful word burst forth; it was like a lead weight being thrown through a bucket of sugar in that it was loud, scattered, and didn’t make any sense. His face was turning a reddish color to match his beard, and was briefly thankful that there was nobody else in the graveyard to hear that completely illogical curse word.
