A man sits behind a desk in the front lobby. If you wish to put on your own show, this is where you would do it.

Conwell and the rest of his troupe walked up to the front desk, holding various props and objects in boxes.
"Hello, we'd like a part in the variety show, please?" he asked.
"Er... Yeah, what he said." Sean added, though his input wasn't really needed. Conwell paid no attention, and simply looked at the man at the desk, who pushed a paper over to Conwell.
"Just fill these out, sir, and you can come on the show. The date of the preformance is Febuary 10th, if you're late, someone else will be put on in your place."
Conwell grumbled, set down his box, and pulled a fountain pen out of his pocket. He fumbled with it a bit before finally scratching down the desired information, and pushing the papers back at the man.
"There. Are we in?"
"Certainly, I'll see you then."
Conwell's face erupted in a grin, and he turned around with the rest of the troupe and walked out, satisfied with what was surely to be a grand preformance. That is, if Connie didn't fall asleep onstage...

Jamie walked in to the theater, looking around at the architecture.
He gave a laid back smile to the man at the desk.
"Hi, I would like to register for the variety show on the tenth."
The man eyed him boredly, taking note of the guitar on his back.

"Guitarist?" he said, pushing the papers towards Jamie.

"Nah, that's just a hobby. I do poetry and comedy. I've been in a couple shows before." he signed the papers and handed them to the man.

"Jamie Caldwell?" he read outloud. Jamie nodded and smiled.
"Eh. Never heard of you."

Jamie walked out, now broken-spirited.

One of Miakoda's managers, Darius, walked into the building and slapped the required papers down on the desk.
"There. That's all you need. All towns are the same about their papers. They've already been signed by Ms. Cassidy, Cornelius and myself," he said in a gruff voice. "Ms. Cassidy also demands the final act, and would like this to be read at the start of the show."
He slammed another paper down on the table, and the man picked it up.

"'We also have a very special guest today, who I'm sure you are all looking forward to. Our last act will be performed by the renowned magician, the wonderful Ms. Miakoda Cassidy,'" the man read with a bored monotone.
"Yeah, I've always heard that she was conceited like that. Okay, why are you still here? Go."

Darius glared at the man at the desk and walked away.

It was 9pm and there was a thunderstorm outside of the Lonehood Theater. "Great," muttered Sabra. "Really great." She pushed a glob of wet hair out of her face and sighed. It hadn't been raining when she had left her apartment, in fact it had been really sunny. She remembered a group of boys was playing soccer in the field down the street. Now, the weather had changed entirely. It was now completely dark, except for the few instances when the lightning flashed, revealing her surroundings. She pushed open the front door that had the letters L and T embossed in gold with an insignia around it. The floor was covered with a rich, red carpet and from the high ceiling hung a gleaming chandelier. She smiled. "Now that's more like it." She looked around for a bathroom and finally saw a sign for the powder room on her right. She followed the sign and walked into the ladies' room. Inside there was a powder blue loveseat, two stalls, and a row of mirrors. She walked over to the sofa, where she left her coat and bag. She took out a bottle of mascara, a cannister of red lipstick, and a blue and gold brush. Walking over to one of the mirrors, she looked around the powder room, glancing at the toilets with disdain. She shook her hair back behind her and brushed it out, then opened up the cannister and started touching up her lips, and finally brushed on some mascara. It was the best she could do in a situation like this. She sighed and put the make up and brush back into her bag. She took the bag and slung her coat over her arm and then left the powder room, making her way to the registration desk. "Hello," she said, smiling. She rummaged in her bag until she found the necessary papers and put them on the desk. Luckily, they hadn't been drenched. The man behind the desk shuffled through the papers rather quickly and said, "You're in the show." Sabra smiled and said, "Thank you." She put her wet coat back on and left the theater. It was still pouring and she put her arms over her head in a futile attempt to stay dry. She got in the carriage that was waiting for her and went home.

Francesca walked into the entry room slowly.
"Um, I'm not sure what to say. My other half doesn't wish to sing with me and I prepared this duet and everything," she said quietly, obviously ashamed.
She dropped the lyrics to "The Last Link Broken" on the table and signed the required papers.
"Will you please tell someone that I need another singer? Thank you, so much."
She walked out quickly, obviously embarassed to admit her situation.

Travis brought the necessary paperwork up to the registration desk. It was dog eared and tattered, covered with grape jelly stains.

The boy slapped the papers down with a sense of accomplishment, "I got me a swell act, gonna bring down the house," Travis told the desk attendant.

"Just wait I'll show ya a sneak look at it," Travis ran out of the building and came back struggling with a barrel of water. his squirrel rifel was slung around his shoulder.

"See them fish in there," Travis said to the attendant, "They can't get round too far cuase the barrel is so small. So it ain't nothun at all to shoot them real easy like."

Travis unslung his rifle and fired at several of the fish in the barrel.

"Whipeee, I got one," Travis hollered.

Rena skips merrily a few paces, then stops quickly, making sure no one saw her. She walks the rest of the way to the registration desk.

"That be Kuro's write of handing!" she says when she sees his signiture written on the line, "I sign up too."

And with that, she takes her left index finger, and presses it to the sheet, leaving behind a burn on it in the shape of her name.

She walks back into town.

Wade comes in and slaps down an absurdly large stack of papers, all tied up nicely in an equally large folder. He stood over it proudly glaring down at the man behind the desk, Wade spoke up, “These are copies of the documents proving my certified right to this kind of a show, I have signed were needed, just review. I will be back when ready.” And with that, Wade leaves.

Gabrielle walked in from the cold cutting wind outside the theatre. Her first stop in the town was here. She walked up to a man behind the desk. Glancing at a poster she said, " Can I sign up for the variety show?" Not glancing twice he pulled out some forms and she filled them out lying where necessary. She started mumbling a soft sad tune as she walked away and saw the man listnening with interest.
"A lullaby my mum used to sing." she told him leaving the room.
