« Thread started on: Jun 4th, 2008, 6:06pm »

The amazing Mr. Elliot Samson Laredo Byer, esq., had just arrived in town by train so he could head over to the infamous Bell Tavern and wow an audience of... no one at all.
Outside of the doors, Elliot leaned against his cane (used solely for giving himself a more dignified appearance) and tapped the fingers of his other hand against his briefcase.
"A town in the wild west with a bar that's been shut down. Who would have thought?"

Treize walked down towards the tavern gazing at the ground as if it were an old friend. Behind him was his loyal brother Richard. Who was busy taking in the fresh air of the west. Treize saw a man tapping a briefcase outside the bar. He smirked before opening the door and walking inside. He found himself an empty table sitting down and waiting for his brother to enter.

"well hello their...where are the woman around here? I have seen no good looking ones all day" Richard said laughing as he approached Elliot. "I knew the west would be bad but not this bad how about going in for a drink with my brother and me instead of being a window shopper"

Richard grinned and looked in at the bar. "wow alcohal of all kinds....dont worry Elliot you look broke enough...I'll pay for the tab" Richard laughed again walking inside and waiting for Elliot to follow.

"Good day to you, sir," Elliot said, touching the brim of his hat and smiling in a friendly manner. He took a few unsteady steps to the side to gaze into the bar window before returning to his perfect posture.
"I would love to, but-" he stopped. The man seemed to already have entered the bar. Elliot tilted his head and followed.
"As I was saying," he continued. "It seems that there is no one working the bar today. Is this customary for this town?"

Armond walked into the bar and looked around it was empty.

"No one is working here tonight is that normal in this town?"
Armond heard a voice nearby.

Armond smiled and Spoke "This is actually closed. I had just heard about it..The sheriff closed it Why I dont know.. I have been out of town on official buisness."

Armond went behind the bar and pulled a bottle of whiskey.
"But between us I think they can spare a bottle if you would like some." Armond pulled out two shot glasses and filled them. Armond then took a swig of the bottle.

"So what are you guys doing in here anyways?" Armond asked. His badge was dirty from traveling but it still was visable. His clothes where still black and neatly pressed and his hat was still intact. He had been gone for months doing stuff in other towns but his apparel barely changed.

"Oh, good day to you, good sir. Strange. I wonder what the cowboys here are like with their liquor all locked up like this," said Elliot. "Well, as for myself, I was just..."
He trailed off as his eyes fell upon the badge. Evidently, this was a man of the law. That made him a little uneasy. He wasn't the sheriff, though, as he had mentioned the sheriff...
Elliot shook his head and took off his hat for a few seconds as a polite gesture.
"Excuse me, my mind must have wandered off for a moment. I've only just arrived in town. I'm a travelling merchant of sorts, you see, and saloons and taverns are usually bustling places that are good for giving demos of my products. But this isn't the case here, I suppose?"
He motioned to the empty tavern with his cane and made a weird face.

Cyril rushed into the tavern with Jones in his arms, kicking the swinging door open with one foot. He had a dire expression on his face. He lay Jones down on an unoccupied table and turned around, red eyes wide with anxiety.
"Ah," he said, finally noticing the presence of others in the supposedly-abandoned tavern. "Sorry, gentlemen," he said rather shyly, tugging at the hood of his cloak apologetically. "I hope you don't mind company; half of us are unresponsive anyway..." He looked around quickly and darted back out, as nervously as he had come in.

"What is this, now?" Elliot said. He tapped his cane impatiently, then strolled over to the man that had just been left behind and examined him. He shook his head and sighed.
"Poor man. Seems to be in pretty bad shape," he thought outloud. "I have just the thing for those wounds, though, but I should really wait until his caretaker returns."
Elliot kneeled down and opened his briefcase, producing a faded bottle. He stood back up and studied the notes on the bottle as he waited for Cyril to return.

Bear walked behind the counter of the bar. Grabbing around 5 bottles of liquor. Treize watched his brother and started to laugh.

"do not laugh brother today is a day of celebration another town another profit" Bear said laughing as he walked towards the table Treize was a seated at. He looked around the room then his eyes came across the unconcious body of Mr. Jones. He stopped smiling for a second. His eyes were fixed upon the body in curiousity. He placed the bottles down on the table.

"what happened to him?" Bear said his tone of voice was no longer as upbeat as before. Treize watched Elliot attempt to gather everyones attention.

Belle had just left the resisendiental part of her life to visist her old place where she first started out in the Clauden. She walked with her head down and walked towards the Bell Tavern. Belle lifed her head and looked through crismon color eyes. Her brown hair went over her right eye.

Belle walked in and looked around, she watched the residents of Clauden talk about their busy lives... She watched a drunken man stumble away from the table towards the bar, shaking her head she walked towards the bar. She looked around, there was nobody there, so she just sat herself down. Her ears twitched at the sound of clanking glasses, laughter of every man and woman in the bar. She waited until she was noticed.

Her back also twitched as her wings fluttered like a newly fledged bird. She wanted to let them out, but she didnt get them out until she was ready to.

((OOC: Belle, what bar lady? The place is condemned!!!))

Cyril trudged back into the tavern with another barely-conscious man (Roland), and deposited him in a chair. He jumped over the bar and picked up a glass, filling it with water at the sink. "Sorry again," he said to the people in the tavern, "but these two need water and bandages..." I guess people congregate in places like this, even when they're closed... though, who knows? The sheriff's current situation being what it is, maybe we can get it reopened.
He brought the glass to Roland in the chair, and held it to his lips. "My God, I can't believe you were alive out in the desert for so long..."

Draegan limped in, one hand on his back. "Oww," he whined. "Whose idea was it to have this guy faint again?"
He looked like a battered woman, arms cut up, face bruised, skirt hem torn to hell, corset bent and half-unlaced, dusty light blue blouse covering a set of fake breasts. Little did he know, but his hair was a wreck, too. All he did know was his feet were in horrible pain. He sat down as quickly as possible, removing his high-heeled boots. "Roland was the slimmer of the two and everything... remind me how I got out of that alive."

He opened one eye and looked around the tavern, seeing... people. "Wow. This place is certainly hopping, for being closed." He looked around, realizing he didn't know most of the people. Well, so much for first impressions. He tried to stand up, wincing in pain as he shifted his weight to his feet, and immediately sat down again. "Hi," he said amicably, his voice as androgynous as ever. "I'm Draegan, and the social retard in the cape is Cyril. The guy in the chair is Roland, and... I forgot the other guy's name. But, um, we've just survived a mine explosion, except for Roland, who's been out wandering in the desert for weeks. How are you?"

Roland listened as they spoke about him wondering about in the desert for weeks. He wished it was true but it wasn't, he quickly took the glass from Cyrils hands and downed it in a single gulp. It didn't stop his thrist but that could wait.

After a fit of coughing Roland found his voice again. "I wish I had been wondering the desert." He mananged to mumble.

Images of the underground hell hole were the people preformed rituals he had never before seen, taking the magic from his body appeared in his head. He shuddered a bit and looked around, he wondered what happened while he was away.

"Did one of you say I was dead?" He managed to ask.

Mr. Jones saw a bright light moving towards him. Then he relived the fiery explosion of the cave. The hot air brushed against his face. Every detail of the incident seemed to play out even slower in his dream. He ran towards the exit before falling onto the ground. He heard the snapping of his leg. Then looked back to see a wolf moving out of the darkness. Unable to move and unable to scream. Mr Jones just watched in horror.

Mr. Jones opened his eyes. His first thought was terror. He diddnt remember being brought to the bar. His eyes darted around the room. He was finding great difficulty in moving. Instead he just laid their. Listening to everyones conversations.

Bear watched Cyril bring in Roland.

"what no hospital here...is this the best exuse of a hospital this town has...I guess liquor is cure for anything" Bear said laughing a little. He always tried to keep a little humor. Even in times of hardship.

Treize smirked abit from his brothers joke. He then began to look for some sort of interesting even in the tavern. Of course their was none. So Treize decided to listen to Roland and the Draegan's conversation.

"You were very dead," Draegan said, eyes wide, leaning out of his chair. "I saw you, on that hilltop with Razo..." He frowned, rather confused. "You were definitely dead." And a werewolf. "How did you manage to scrape yourself up out of that? And what do you mean, you wish you'd been wandering in the desert?"
