Bang. Bang.

The impromptu audience clapped as the saloon girl spun her pistol on her index finger and shoved it into her garter--it took many years to practice that, and even then, she's still a bit shaky considering her luck, but tonight was her night! She pulled off the face gun stow without a hitch.

Her leg was propped up on the table; everything from the thigh down was exposed. Her long red and black dress seemed extra sharp tonight on a night like this. She was feeling good being back in the tavern after such an abrupt absence. She looked around, the applause making her smile wide. She threw her arms in the air, large feather fan in her right hand now.

She looked slowly from left to right, hearing the tavern go up in a fury of clapping. She walked over to a table behind the old style baby grand piano and stood atop it before lightly hopping over and sitting atop the piano. The piantist leaned back in laughter. She playfully slapped her knee as she told him to "play something rowdy to get the folks feelin' good."

With a slight nod of his head, the blond piano player set to it, playing a nice little diddy that had the gamblers and cowboys moving slightly with the tune. Another smile touched her face as she seemed to orchestrate it all. It was a moment before four other girls in blue, green, purple and a wine purple-red respectively came to get her to walk around and mingle like they were supposed to.

"Yeah, I wouldn't want to ah-fend the boss, I wouldn't." She shook her head, uncrossed her legs and hopped down. Six hands reached up to help her with her descent. She looked to the girls, opened her fan and nodded. They walked around slowly going from table to table before one of the other girls was called away to help with the drinks.

"Oh I'll help you sweetie," Jodeci said to the girl in blue, who handed her a tray to walk with.

Jodeci walked toward a table, accompanied by the wine-colored girl. She dramatically moved her hips and leaned over, displaying the tray to the four men playing cards at a table.

"Drink?" she asked flirtatiously. The wine colored girl laughed and waved her fan before her face slowly.

Francesca, who had never ended up finding her cousin and eventually ended up giving up the whole business, sauntered into the tavern. She wore a richly embellished black dress and hat, though if in mourning, it was unclear at what she had lost. As she entered, she couldn't help but notice the commotion.
"Wow," she said quietly to no one in particular, taking a look at Jodeci. "Someone likes attention."
While Francesca had come across many girls of this type before, she herself was not one of them. She moved to a quiet table by herself, away from the rowdy crowd, and ordered a fine wine.

Carlos walked back into the tavern after having no luck finding any information on the whereabouts of the other vigilantes, besides marius who looked to be down-and-out.

To his surprise there were attractive females in the tavern.

Carlos walked in all full of bravado to where Jodeci was offering for drinks.

"The Rooster would like a drink," he said to Jodeci. Carlos scowled at the cowboys who Jodeci offered to serve.

"These gringo cowpokes don't need no stinkin drinks. They not have the firey blood of a Spaniard, but I do senorita," Carlos said looking at Jodeci and giving a big grin.

"The Rooster needs a drink before his heat burns these gringos down."

Jodeci smirked at one of her friends when she ran by, screaming at the bartender to "pull up one of the good drinks" for a lady in the back. When the woman in purple walked back with a serving tray balanced flatly on her hand, that's when Jodeci was snapped back into her current situation. She looked back at the one who was identified as "The Rooster".

'"The Rooster"?' she thought to herself. 'I've never heard such a cockamamey name in all of my years---well, I can't particularly say that, now could I?"

As she spoke, she was handing the drinks to the men at the table before her, and she looked to the smile that was flashed at her. Her own smile was not as sweet; it was quick and forced as a thought ran through her mind: Great. Not another one. She stood up straight and patted her friend's back. "This is Liqua; she'll serve you." She looked to the disapproved faces and quickly added, "Now don't you worry; I'll be back. I have to make sure everyone around here is satisfied, got it?"

The woman in blue shot her a quick and somewhat insulted look. Jodeci scrunched up her nose and then laughed at the girl. "Just holler if you need me, boys." Some of the other men whistled at her as she walked away. A roll of her eyes as she walked over toward the woman in purple, and the woman she was serving who was sitting by her lonesome at the table.

"You folks doin' all right?" She asked them both, looking from her friend to the female client. She looked back to the other saloon girl, about to say something when:

"B QUEEN!" Liqua screamed from the other table, loud enough to cause Jodeci to cringe.
"WHAT?!" the other woman screamed back, stepping away from Jodeci as she did.

B Queen, as the woman in purple was called, walked over to Liqua to keep the men entertained. They both turned to the piantist and waved for his attention, requesting a song that they could sing to the boys. Jodeci, leaning over the table--one hand on the table and the other on her hip, watched this spectacle from afar, shaking her head as she did. She looked back to the woman and smiled nervously. "Forgive my friends; they're the brash sort of people. Can't do a thing with them." She touched her fan to her head, eyes closing as she shook her head. "What can I do for you?"

Carlos looked at Liqua.

"I am the Rooster," he said to Liqua, "You see all these other cowboys in here? They are just cockerels or.." Carlos laughed "capons. But not me. "

Carlos studied Liqua, "You go bring the Rooster some Tequilla now and leave the bottle."

Liqua looked at him with a sturdy gaze; she was usually the one that was easy to woo when it came to her customers, but, deteremined to follow in Jodeci's footsteps, she stayed calm and collected.

She nodded to his request, finding his vocabulary odd and unknown. She walked off, leaving B Queen with them.

The woman in the wine colored dress moved over, hips swaying as she did. She sat down at the table and smiled gently.

"Now what can I do for you boys so that way you stay entertained?"

Carlos noticed Fran sitting over at the bar. He did not know Fran but stared at her for a while.

Carlos got up and started dancing full of bravado. "The Rooster needs a senorita to dance with. Who will dance with me? Who in here can match the Rooster's passion?"

Francesca was uncomfortable with Carlos' stare. She wasn't often stared at by strange men, nor did she particularly enjoy it when she was. That's why Bell Tavern was best avoided. A proper lady like her didn't belong there. But where else was there to go? The cemetery?
She was about to shout out something to the effect of, 'Hey, what's your problem?' when Carlos said something about dancing. Relieved that she was not required to make a response to this, she turned in her seat and focused her eyes on the door.

Carlos put his hands on the shoulders of the woman with the wine colored dress and tried to pull her from her seated position.

"Come on senorita, it has been a long time since the Rooster has danced with a woman."
